I really liked the spacious common work area, which was comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was very well equipped, and I enjoyed chatting with other guests while preparing breakfast or dinner it created a friendly atmosphere. I also appreciated that fresh coffee was always available throughout the day.

I was a little nervous because it was my first time staying in a mixed dormitory. On my first night I shared the room with a man, but he was very respectful, and I appreciate that. The next day, after I asked, the hostel staff kindly changed my room to a female-only dorm, even though it was a Sunday. Thank you for taking the time to help. As a suggestion, I think it's important to remember that many women feel much more comfortable and relaxed staying in a women-only room whenever possible.

It is a quiet clean place and the staff is helpful and respectful. It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the train station.

I couldn’t close the window at night and the weather gets chilly.

Price, great views of lagoon, easy going, great spot to use as a base for biking

The access system requires you to download an app on a smartphone & activate it. For me was ok but my friend had problems with her phone. The support team did fix it - but a simple card solution would be better.

Good location. Clever hi-tech access system. Good kitchen facilities.

When I had to ring the emergency number there was no reply! Staff were stand-offish. No quilt or pillow on my bed - had to ask for staff help (which eventually came).
