Corte Anibaldi Apartment

Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and place to be for our 2 nights in Lecce. The apartment itself is huge and has a lot of space, though I would say that some of the space is underutilized (entrance area and living room), and the building itself has beautiful old vaulted ceilings. The owner and her daughter came to check us in - they were very friendly and helpful, especially as they came back a few hours later to help us figure out how to work the air conditioners (make sure you ask them about this - a special switch in the main bathroom and under one of the beds in the smaller bedroom need to be in the "on" position). The apartment was fairly well equipped: full kitchen, 2 bathrooms (1 full, 1 1/2 bath), 2 bedrooms, wash machine, small courtyard outside with line to hang clothes on to dry, and a sofa/TV in the living room. The apartment was fairly clean and the price point was fair. The location was great - in the old town, maybe about 10 mins or less by foot from the train station.

-The layout of things in the kitchen was a little confusing (for example the cups or plates - I can't remember which now- were located I think in a cabinet in the living room) -the kitchen was fairly well equipped, but I remember it being a bit more sparse than the place I had stayed in before it -the sofa in the living room was really tired looking and had definitely seen better days -if I recall correctly there weren't many channels you could watch on the TV, and what there was, most were only in Italian

The host was very kind

Location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of the old town, very close to all the sights, bars and restaurants. Property had been beautifully renovated and had everything we needed for the stay. the host could not have been more helpful.

Just be aware if you have a rental car that the property is within the Lecce LTZ and cars can only enter in certain times. parking is no problem outside the LTZ.
