Nice little hotel with lovely views of the mountain.

The rooms have a glass bathroom which doesn't afford much privacy. There is a curtain which can be pulled across but worth knowing if you are sharing with someone other than your partner.

Breakfast was really pretty ordinary.

The breakfast is excellent - it features quality food and local home-made delicacies. The room appears to be very good - eg big windows with great view, refrigerator, tea-making facilities, desk and chair, innovative hanging space and shelves, and the glassed ensuite looks innovative. Plus there is an elevator, and wi-fi is good.

Two main problems that badly disadvantage the good points. The AC - and the temp had been 38 on that day - works to get the temp down to 21 fast. But then the cold air continues, and the controls could not reduce the fan speed or increase the temperature above the max setting of 21. Result? Great for the first 10 mins of entering the room, but after that you had to turn it off. Well, you could open the window, but with the ambient air at night still very hot, it was difficult to feel comfortable. The mattresses are very hard - maybe that’s ok for some people, but some people are not all people. Putting a blanket under the bottom sheet helped me a little - making the difference between sleeping in the room I had paid for, or sleeping in the car. But my wife suffered the whole night - not good for a person with back injuries she lives with every day. We could deal with a third issue and that concerned the glassed ensuite, but others my find some difficulties dealing with. For example, there is only one door that can either be used for the toilet or the shower (but not both simultaneously), and there is an absence of towel hooks for users of the shower.
