I enjoyed my stay overall and was able to walk all over downtown. Forsyth park is 2 blocks away. A few little touches around the apartment would make it feel a little homier (e.g. more art on the walls, fresh paint, a bath rug, etc.). It was as clean as you'd expect a historic home to be for the most part, but the cleaning person needs to check closets and such as there was a chunk of old bread on the pantry floor. The wifi info on VRBO is inaccurate, but the router is easily accessible to get the login. The daybed was super comfy, but the mattress in the bedroom was crazy firm and the pillows were like rocks. For the money and the location I would stay again and bring my own pillows, but with a bigger budget I'd upgrade.

Cute, historical place to stay in Savannah! Convenient walking distance to everything. Suggest stocking the bedroom with extra blankets and some clothes hangers, but had everything else we needed. Also, a do little better on the cleaning, we did find a piece of pretzel on the floor as soon as we arrived.

Bed was comfortable. Needs very thorough cleaning. Bathtub was so dirty I didn’t want to use it.
