If you're looking for a secluded getaway for the entire family right on the shore of Lake Anna, this comfortable, two-story home in Orange is just for you! You'll have several spaces to relax in, including a fully-furnished lower level complete with a large sectional, well-equipped kitchenette, and a table for four - perfect for meals or board game nights. On the main level, this spacious home features a full kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table with six chairs, a comfortable living area, and French door access out to the furnished deck with a private gas grill. Guests will also have access to a private beach and a dock, as well as two kayaks and canoes.
While you will likely be spending a lot of your time on and in the lake, this home is also just 12 miles from Lake Anna State Park, which offers hiking trails, a fishing pond, and a sand beach. The house is also located close to the mouth of the North Anna River, which flows into Lake Anna. The River is accessible by kayak, should you wish to go 'river' kayaking! For great views and delicious, lakeside dining, check out Tim's at Lake Anna Restaurant & Crabhouse, only four-and-a-half miles from your door, where you'll also find the Boardwalk at Lake Anna, for additional dining options, mini-golf, and arcade games.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great house right on the water! The house was very spacious and had tons of amenities. Lots of beds and were very comfortable. The kayaks were nice to have and so was the grill. Dock is small but was just what we needed. Be aware that water is shallow but perfect for just floating in the lake. Host was very responsive to all our needs and the late check out was amazing! Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

The house is well-equipped with three bedrooms upstairs and an entire bedroom suite downstairs. We loved using the canoes for exploring the area. We appreciated the wide variety of floatation devices and the canoes and kayaks. The kitchen was well-equipped with new appliances and everything we needed. We appreciated that shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap was provided. We also appreciated the VaCasa welcome box of dish and laundry detergents. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, but it is 15-20 minutes from the house to the grocery store, restaurants, or the Lake Anna State Park.

Nice location, Overall nice home, but could use some updating. Decor was a bit outdated and drab especially paintings.
Pros: Nice open spaces, large TV’s in each room, the handicap accommodations were very nice. Living room furniture was very nice and comfortable. Beautiful deck and front porch.
Cons: Queen and bunk mattresses absolutely need to be replaced. You could feel the springs. There was a blind missing on the living room window, the broom was broken in half so it was difficult to sweep the kitchen floor, 2 of the dining room chairs had big splits in the vinyl seat, the tall top bed rail on the queen bed was not secured/broken so we sit it on the floor so it didn’t fall off during the night. Depending how you view it as a con or not, but the water gets extremely hot so you have to be very careful! Our biggest concern was lack of an exit from the lower level in the event of an emergency. There is a door to the outside, but it’s key locked by the owner, so if the stairwell were to get blocked you’d be trapped.
All this being said with a few needed updates this could be a 5 star rental.
