The hosts Cristina and Soare are wonderful people, who were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The flat was , spotlessly clean, bright and very spacious for two people. The beds are really comfortable with excellent quality mattresses, the shower was easy to use with good water pressure and the temperature was perfect. Everything we needed was there, and when we had difficulty with the corkscrew provided, our hosts immediately provided another brand new one. They also helped us on our way back by recommending a reliable taxi driver to take us to the airport for a reasonable price. The flat is absolutely perfectly located to explore the Old Town and is minutes from the sea front and Ovidio Square. There is good food to be had moments away with lots of eateries, cafes and bars. Although youre at the centre of things, we found the flat to be quite tucked away and quiet. Constanta is fascinating, and theres so much to see within walking distance from the flat. The Casino deserves its moniker ‘the Pearl of the Black Sea’. The vibe of the city is friendly, relaxed and oozing with all the history of a vibrant and important port city since Roman times. Casa Fotografiu is a really great place to stay, and we’ll be coming back next time!

Beautiful big apartment spotlessly clean right by all food and drink positioned well

Plenty of space beautifully comfortable

The host was very kind and is surely well intended. The apartment is pleasantly decorated, although the owner's occupation as a wedding photographer is a bit too obvious.

We booked this apartment for two main reasons: the location within the historical Peninsula and the terrace (besides the pleasant design). The actual location is in the back of the communist blocks from Ovidiu Square, which makes your perspective less pleasant than the photos allow to see. The apartment we had is improvised in spaces which were not initially designed for residential use (the stair to the apartment is very uncomfortable, especially with/for kids; the bath is very small and fragmented, without shower cabin and insect net for the small window; the entrance to the second bedroom is made from the dining area etc.). All the secondary windows turn to narrow and ugly inner courts, which is why they are "blocked" through design. The terrace/balcony mentioned among the facilities in fact doesn't exist, it is the access corridor to the apartment = the hallway in front of the lower level apartment, and any "relaxation" moment on the "terrace" had to be intermediated by the uncomfortable 20 steps flight of stairs.
