Restful, clean, elegant and friendly.

The location was serene and safe. The ambience was quite elevated with a lovely homely bar, gym and even a library/ lounge. Will certainly be coming back

Amazing room, good location, concerning cleanness

Amazing place and our room had great amenities and infra. Location is good - fairly close to the busy areas, but not at walking distance. Surroundings don’t have much other than an HEB.

We felt the room wasn’t properly clean. After feel hours we could see our socks/feet really gathering dirty. Improved after talking at front desk - but clearly the rug is really dirty and that won’t improve with the regular cleaning.

Boutique charm and great location, a little noisy.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance to H‑E‑B, coffee, and other Congress gems. The decor is beautiful, the kitchenette was well stocked, and the staff were very friendly.

One part of the hotel faces a 24 hour laundromat which is where we were located. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy including dogs barking while tied to a pole while the owner did laundry. Otherwise, a great stay.

Very nice decor very clean Brandon was amazing very knowledgeable and friendly. Had almost everything we needed. Very roomy rooms and will definitely book again. Beds were comfy. We rented a 2 br suite and it was like a small apartment! We loved it!

No ice machines near us had to walk all the way back to the front of the hotel which is quite a ways. The living room had no curtain which felt weird because the security guy at HEB stayed parked at the top of the parking garage next door! Ordered pizza had to go all the way back to the front of the hotel. I was woken up at 3 am from the loud trucks dropping off food at HEB. All the way til after 6 am. Made a video showed the front desk clerk. Nothing was done. Oh well. Will still prolly book again but will ask to book a closer room!

I would easily go back to the Colton Hotel!

We got there late and staff was outstanding! He welcomed us and filled us in on what is nearby and where to grab a glass of wine for the room. He let us know almost anything we wanted was within walking distance, in addition to their own facilities. The kitchenette in room was far beyond expectations.

I would not say this hotel would be known for its pool area-a bit small and out of the way. We had to go a long way to get ice. Great otherwise!

Upscale boutique hotel without all the downtown fuss. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect! The hotel decor was beautiful and our room was exactly what we needed for 4 woman to stay together for a night comfortably.

The refrigerator in our room started beeping late at night so that was a bummer but they were very accommodating the next morning and took care of our parking fees.

The location was convenient and it was very secure. The shower was one of the best parts.

Parking was expensive. The hallways had a funny smell. The floors were concrete and not comfy, warm or welcoming. The front desk staff was aloof upon check in and when we had any questions.

Odd discomforts like chairs too low for a table, bar stools too high for the bar. No decaf or NA beer at Simona’s. Coffee provided in the room is awful.

A small hiccup, but a great stay

The front desk personnel were personable and courteous. They were able to set us up in a new room due to our original room lacking ac. The new room was even better with a larger shower. The beds were comfortable.

Upon arriving to our first room half the lights didn't work and the ac was set at 80. We quickly notified the front desk and asked if we could have another room. They politely said there weren't any other rooms available. We went back to our room to wait for the maintenance engineer to be notified. We were able to figure out the breaker was flipped for the lights, so we fixed that ourselves. About 20 minutes later the front desk called and said they were just notified the ac was out for that area of the hotel, where our room was located. After no ETA was given for ac being fixed, we were offered a new room at a discounted rate.

unsure if would stay again

location is great and coffee house is a plus

the a/c wasnt easy to deal with. we set it for 68 and it just felt like a humid cool. So my nights were filled with me tossing and turning. They allow pets which is great but our next door neighbor had her dog barking from 10pm till 1 am. I finally went to tell the front desk and they said "not much they could do but I can try to call them" , and yes that is what I would recommend. The dog sounded very distressed and it wasnt a bark then a few minutes later another one it was one right after another. There wasnt any accomodation recommendations either. Maybe switching rooms or offering a discount for the inconvenience. Although not your dog this is still your hotel and you are responsible for your guests comfort. Also the phones didnt work I was told just to walk to the front desk to ask for things which is very inconvenient. I've stayed here before and can say this visit I was disappointed.

The size of the room was great….had a sofa and kitchen which was great if you were staying longer! Clean fresh bedding and comfortable bed. Very clean spacious bathroom too. Lighting good Air con good.

The location was a bit out of the way. And it was a really long walk from my room to the bar and pool. Also you have to get staff to let you into pool area but they were very busy behind bar with a queue for coffee. Also no restaurant on site. Just snacks.

Very clean and awesome staff but the walls and doors are paper thin.

Very modern and new property. Location is perfect for getting around the city for a getaway weekend.

Our first room of a two night stay was next to the laundry room so we were waken up by staff at 730am on Saturday to listen to them doing laundry. The staff were happy to change our room and second was much better. That being said you can hear everything going on around you so be prepared for that.

Paying for parking. $33/day is STEEP. Include the parking in room rate. Really it was way too much. Check-in person wasn’t friendly and didn’t help us get a good sense of things - both in the hotel or the area.
