Needed respite due to my neighbours from hell but here they were as bad, banging about all night !

The Victorian decor . Loved the book wallpaper , outside patio.

No sleep due to upstairs banging about day and all night , broken toilet , no toiletries , light bulbs flickering I had to use a lamp in the kitchen.

Comfortable and perfectly located

Lovely place to stay very comfortable and in a great position for exploring the local area zoo and Morrisons a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again the host was very helpful and always available and quick to respond to any questions. Also lots of places to visit a short drive away and the parking is free and pretty easy to find parking near to property

Ideal for short stay, everything you need in a central location.

Location was great for walking to places. Shower was awesome. Heating was great. TV was good for catching on shows we don’t get in Australia 😊

Noise of the road, we aren’t used to it. Microwave could be swapped out looks a bit rusty. Bins need putting out for collection.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a lovely property!

A lovely spacious, stylish, well appointed apartment. A great shower, very comfortable bed and everything you could need in the kitchen. We managed to park close by every time. A short stroll in to Paignton. Morrison’s close by too! Plus Josh the host is very friendly and got back to me quickly with any questions or queries 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The main road is a little noisy at times but nothing too bad. The patio is very small but there is a park/wooded area just across the road which was perfect for a stroll with our dog. Nothing we didn’t like really just pointers to inform others 😊

partner didn’t sleep well on memory foam bed said it was sloping but I slept very well. not keen on the coffee machine couldn’t find a normal kettle. also could hear neighbours upstairs in the mornings.

Big bedroom. Styling was quite nice throughout. Comfortable. Good shower. Easy location to get to by car.

FYI for host to address: Lightbulbs out in living room chandelier and floor lamp. Really need these replaced because of the interior design. Garden needs some TLC. Water / trim etc. Outside wood burner full of fag ends. TV remote batteries held in with a plaster.

Josh was a lovely Host, very helpful and went above and beyond to help us with any queries. He allowed us to check in early and made the process very easy.

having looked at the previous reviews, not much has changed or been rectified. The toilet seat was loose. The light in the front room had two bulbs that didn’t work. None of the Lamps worked. There were several stains in the bedroom. The Roku services were all unavailable and the TV didn’t function well.

Comfy bed nice duvet cover cushions etc. Location not far from centre. Parking in street .

Only thing was the toilet seat wasn't secure. Also upstairs was noisy but didnt stop us sleeping.

Lovey clean little flat and we enjoyed the little garden area where we sat out to enjoy the sun it was ideal walk to the zoo and morrisons very clean and comfortable bed we had the best time and it was a short walk in to Paignton town

upon arrival at a glance Around it was lovely, josh the host was lovely and ensured to message and check in with me, I was in Devon attending a funeral

the toilet seat was not secure and did not fit the toilet at all, there was damp in every room in the apartment the floor boards around the lounge are not properly secure, on arrival the smell of damp was lingering. the noise from the above flat kept us awake until 5am on the sat morning. also banging on the first night. the fridge door made a continuous loud buzzing noise. there was a very large stain as you walk into the bedroom we moved a rug over the top of it as to not look at it. there was also strange snot looking stains on the cushions 😳🤮

Spacious

The size of the rooms were ideal and adequately furnished and we were very comfortable. Happy with the extras of tea, coffee, sugar and essentials included in the kitchen and bathroom. The location was very good and an easy walk into Paignton. Some of the properties close to No. 89 were a little run down but we put that down to a sign of the times. We liked the fact it was dog friendly but we couldn’t let our dog out in the garden to roam free as the perimeter of the property was not secure. However there was a park a little further up the road on the opposite side where we could let our dog off the lead for exercise.

We felt that the colours used in the sitting room were very dark consequently if we dropped anything on the floor it was difficult to find.. That is just our own personal opinion as we prefer lighter colours. One or two small DIY jobs need to be addressed eg light bulb replaced in main room, maybe a couple of doors repainted. On the whole though for what we paid it represented good value and we would stay there again.

The flat was spacious, comfortable had everything you needed felt homely and I was ready to move in forever, clean and tidy and 5 minutes from the supermarket. Perfect I wouldn't book anywhere else when we're in the area again.

The location is great, there is a Morrison's, Asda and other supermarkets close by. Paignton Zoo is a short walk from the property which was very handy. The property is easy to find on the main road which is also very handy.

The only real let down was the lack of parking although this is made known before the trip on other reviews so I was expecting it. Other than that i have nothing else I didn't like.

Mediocre stay for a high price tag

Sofa super comfy and good shower. Decor modern and stylish. Streaming services on the Tv in living room were good!

Tv in both living room and bedroom very dated for the modern look of the apartment. Very hard mattress even with topper, lighting throughout the property was very dim. Tea and coffee making facilities but no milk so had to make an extra trip to the shop once we’d arrived and settled in for the night. Also coffee machine provided but no pods to use in it? General maintenance needs looking at (stain on bedroom carpet as you walk in and by the radiator, light bulb out in the chandelier) Hardly any shampoo or shower gel left in the bottle, either don’t provide it or keep it full.

5 days in Paignton

Apartment was beautifully decorated and spacious, a lot bigger than it looks in the photos. It was exceptionally clean throughout and was well presented. The bed is very comfy. Location was excellent, just a short walk into Paignton. Owner was very good at communicating with us through the stay. Also within walking distance to the zoo and Morrisons supermarket.

Very noisy due to bedroom being situated very close to the main road, and also noisy neighbours upstairs, banging about and running up and down the stairs. Could have done with more amenities such as extra toilet roll for longer stays.

3/4 of the garden was safe secure the last quarter unfortunately was unsafe for my dogs could get over the wall , but this could be easily remedied have a bit of fencing , lovely large bedroom feel it will be better if there was one more bed and classed as a family room
