River moon villa

Lovely villa amidst padi fields beautifully appointed. Very private and easily accessible by car. We took Grab everywhere and the main centre of Ubud was only a drive away as was all of Bali! Our villa had a private dipping pool but there the shared pool was huge and lovely with no one else around. Staff, especially our twin chefs were always smiling and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended!

That we had too little time in this little corner of Ubud!

Quietness and beautiful view. Very peaceful and relaxing property. Was very spacious. Lovely grounds. Comfortable property to stay in.

Location is a bit outside of everything. Walking to ubud is too far, needs a driver. The home itself is super clean, in the surroundings you find a lot of plastic waste, like in many places of Bali

River Moon Villa was exactly as shown in the pictures. The local manager, Ms. Kadek, met us at check in. They served us a welcome drink of coconut water which was great. The host was very gracious and allowed us to check in early. The property was kept well. It was clean and beautifully maintained. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. We were served eggs of our choice, bread, fresh fruit, coffee and other breakfast items like butter, jams, etc. On the last day we requested a traditional Indonesian breakfast which was outstanding. Ms. Kadek came everyday to ensure that the housekeeping was done. River Moon Villa is the perfect place to unwind and my family and I had an absolutely fabulous time staying here. Ms. Kadek arranged for 2 massuers to come to the villa and the four of us got outstanding massages. Ms Kadek also arranged to get our clothes laundered. There was a charge for the massages and laundry, but it was really cheap. Whenever we go back to Bali again River Moon Villa is for sure the first place I will look for when staying in Ubud. Some advice for people considering staying here: 1. When looking for it on the map or how to get there look for "Desa Bulan". Desa Bulan is the name of the 10 villa complex and Rver Moon is one of the villas in it. River Moon doesn't show on Google Maps. 2. You are going to be living in nature. Some insects, geckos, frogs etc. will be around the villa especially at night. Keep your room doors closed and you won't be bothered by them. 3. River moon villa is about 15mins from Ubud city center. The roads in Ubud are narrow so sometimes it can take longer, so plan accordingly. 4. There are no places to eat in the near vicinity. You can order food on Grab Indonesia or Gojek. 5. The villa sleeps 4. Other than really small children who can share a bed with adults, the villa will not be suitable for more than 4 people. None of this advice is meant to deter anyone from this superb accomodation.

Everything was as expected and perfect.

Rooms and Beds were comfortable Hosts had a driver who could take us around Hosts were lovely Breakfast was really good. We had the hosts cook fresh breakfast for us every morning and it was fresh and nice. Safety as they have security guards

Its not really about facilities or features. Need to be mindful that this property is in midst of a rice paddy field. There were all sort of wildlife starting from lizards(a lot of them inside the villa), spiders, bugs, insects etc.. If you have kids you just need to plan and be sure they will be comfortable with them. A TV would have been nice Hot shower was a bit intermittent but worked

Sehr schönes architektonisch ansprechendes Haus in gepflegter Anlage. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Tolle Lage direkt am Reisfeld. Großer Gemeinschaftspool (wir waren dort immer allein) + kleiner privater Pool. Die Managerin ist sehr aufmerksam und kümmert sich - gemeinsam mit ihrer Familie - hervorragend um ihre Gäste. Die Mitarbeiter der Anlage sind alle sehr freunlich und zuvorkommend. Man kann über die Reisfelder auch zu Fuß nach Ubud hereinlaufen und kommt in der Nähe des Monkey Forest heraus (bei Tageslicht eine schöner Spaziergang). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in deze prachtige villa. Wat pluspunten: - rustige ligging met uitzicht op rijstvelden. Met een Grab sta je binnen een kwartier in het centrum van Ubud - heerlijk gemeenschappelijk zwembad en klein zwembad bij het huis - ‘s morgens wordt je getrakteerd op lekker ontbijt - communicatie verloopt snel en prettig via WhatsApp

Alles beviel goed aan deze villa! Wel een praktische tip…als je met een Grab terug wilt naar de villa, dan staat centrum Ubud helemaal vast. Loop het eerste stuk zelf en als file oplost…boek dan je Grab! Lopen is sneller dan in auto het eerste stuk.
