Mássimo, o anfitrião, é muito amável e atencioso, aguardou-nos na via próxima e ajudou com o transporte das malas até a habitação, que fica num vicolo ao lado da Igreja de San Giorgio. Indicou o melhor lugar para guardar o carro, o parcheggio da Stazione Maritima, moderno, espaçoso e com preços razoáveis de permanência, e deu dicas de passeios e restaurantes próximos. Visitamos a Costa Amalfitana com barco saindo direto da Stazione Maritima, o que facilitou enormemente nossa viagem, pois o deslocamento e estacionamento do carro na Costa Amalfitana são difíceis!
A entrada para a habitação tem um degrau alto, quase um estribo de bonde (para quem andou de bonde...), que dificulta um pouco o acesso. Em se tratando de um centro histórico, é de se desculpar, mas pessoas idosas desacompanhadas terão dificuldade.

Great location, close to big underground parking and walking distance from all downtown shops and restaurants. Spacious and clean apartment. The host was very friendly and helpful, gave us great tips for our vacation.

The size of the apartment was excellent and has some excellent facilities. The shower was great and the host did well to make us feel welcome. The apartment has strong Internet provision and great air conditioning.
This accommodation will really suit some people, but it wasn't the accomodation for me. The apartment itself is excellent, but it's location lets it down. The area outside the apartment can feel quite intimidating, especially at night when the street is packed with drinkers from a nearby bar (experienced during the weekend). Those drinkers then sit under the window until the early hours of the morning which can be heard in the apartment. It is for this reason that I would not recommend this accommodation for young families or those wanting to relax in Salerno, but may be a good choice for those looking for nightlife.
The the property is quite difficult to access, with a high step into the property. It is also sold as having a Double Bed and a Sofa Bed. Whilst my father slept in the bed, I spent 3 nights sleeping on a wooden structure with a very thin cushion-this is not a sofa bed. I didn't sleep very well at all and left with quite a painful back.
