Das Apartment und der Host sind einfach nur Klasse. Der Ort ist total untouristisch und abends auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf das Dorftreiben zu sitzen, ist schon ziemlich einmalig. Im Ort gibt es das Restaurant Picadilly mit umwerfenden Essen und einem Besitzer, der vor Lebensfreude mitreisend ist. Xirokampi ist ein Ort, der lebt und der einen einfach mitnimmt. Die Wanderungen in diese Gegend sind z.T. atemberaubend -müssen aber auch erst gefunden werden

The terrace was beautiful. We were part of the plateia! The apartment is very central, and a great spot for going on day trips to the Mani or beaches. The people of Xirocambi are friendly and helped us park. They will ask you where you are from and get all up in your business, but it is all friendly. We loved that there were so many places to go eat, the bakery was around the corner, and did I mention the terrace? Also, it is a spacious apartment with a large living/kitchen area. The front bedroom is lovely with two big windows and doors to the terrace. The back bedroom was quiet and has a window overlooking the side street. There is a market right across the plateia, I was able to watch my daughter from the kitchen window go get our breakfast groceries. We felt very at home and moved in right away, as you can see from the picture. The view of the mountains every day is breathtaking. Day trips to Gytheio, Mavrovouni Beach and Dirgos Caves is easy. I would absolutely come here again.

I am disabled, so the stairs getting up to the apartment was a small challenge for me. We did have a little trouble finding the place, too, but that's on us. Other than that, this is a beautiful spot to use as a home base.

Very nice terrace overlooking the village square. This square is very atmospheric with several restaurants and their terraces. It s a nice ambience at evenings, a lot of locals gather here. The town has some interest points, small supermarkets and is close to Sparta and Gythio. Inside the renovated appartement, you cannot hear noise from the square. Well equiped kitchen, good airco. We recommend restaurant Kamares just downstairs, good quality and price.
