About this house rental
Summary:
Cute, newly remodeled, 3 BR home on the Northeast side of Crested Butte.
The Space:
This gem of a house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths-a perfect configuration for two families. It's quiet location on the northeast edge of town is convenient to the free bus shuttle as well as Elk Ave, the heart of downtown Crested Butte. Complete remodel of the kitchen and bathrooms, flooring, and entry way was completed in June of 2024. All new furnishings, and finishes throughout the whole house were added. The private backyard/patio, with charcoal grill, is adjacent to the living area, and provides a lovely resting place after an adventurous day in the mountains. The property has an open floor plan and ground floor living area with vaulted ceilings and large windows which make it feel open and warm. A fully stocked kitchen has ample room for family dinners as well as seating for 6 at a table in the kitchen. The living room has a large smart TV (currently functioning with Chromecast and an Apple TV) and new furniture. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor that share a full bath. One has a queen bed and the other has 2 sets of twin bunk beds (4 twin beds). There is also a full washer and dryer as well as a mudroom on this floor.
The second floor has the primary suite with king bed and spacious ensuite full bath.
There is a one car attached garage which is perfect for storing bikes, ski equipment or any other gear one might have. There are 3 townie bikes for use which are stored in the garage. You'll love cruising around town on one of these!
All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.
No smoking of any substance is allowed in the property.
Minimum rental age is 25. Guests under 25 are always welcome with their parent or guardian.
Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.
There are two off-street parking spaces.
This property is not pet friendly.
The Town of Crested Butte short term rental license # is 008142.
Please note that our company does have a separate rental policy that will be emailed to you immediately after booking and this will need to be signed by you. If you wish to see it prior to booking, just send us an email.

In town neighborhood. Quiet, couple of blocks to the main business district.
Getting Around:
A car would be easier to get around, but you are in walking distance to anything in Crested Butte. You are 2 blocks to the closest shuttle bus to the ski resort and Mt Crested Butte. This bus also has multiple stops throughout the town of Crested Butte.

This was our first time to the area and it will definitely not be our last. Our daughter attended a running camp in Gunnison while the rest of the family stayed in Crested Butte. The home was exactly as pictured. Perfect for our younger kids, ages 9 and 11, and also our older son, age 18. We were able to walk to Elk street stores and restaurants. But we were also able to enjoy meals at home using the grill and kitchen facilities. We hiked, rode horses, traveled to the Sand Dunes, etc. The family also enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. Five stars!

Location was great. Easy walk to the free shuttle for a 5 minute ride to the ski resort. We walked to town every night for dinner - easy 8-10 minute walk. But you could also use the shuttle to town.The house was super clean and had everything you need for a long ski weekend. Would highly recommend and would book again.

Great location. Easy walk into town, to mountain shuttle and to Nordic trails at end of road.
Kitchen is very basic. No tea kettle. Other basic supplies like paper towels ( non existent), TP and Kleenex limited.
Some cleaning issues...large spider in web in BR, in master suite found a used plastic water bottle and used kleenex under bed.
