Excellent stay beautiful views and close to all amenities

The property was accesed by two doors. The inner door had a lock which could be locked from the inside with no key. The outer door needed a key to unlock it. If a fire broke out the key to the outer door needed to be available to get out of the building so we made sure the key was close by.

All in all, location is good. Service / facilities are less than ideal

Nice location and beautiful views

The hot water runs out quickly and you have to do some trick to get the water warm - but it’s not enough for two showers. Also the toilet tissue ran out without any spares.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The bed was comfortable, although I did bring my own pillow. The lounge area was vey comfortable with lovely views over the harbour. The kitchen area was clean,, modern and spacious with all the equipment and utensils you could need for a short stay. Location was perfect near to all the life of Fowey. We were a group of four and there was plenty of hot water for all of us.

The car parking arrangements are not ideal. We unloaded outside the apartment and then had to park at the Old Station Yard car park which was a 10-15 minute walk away and quite expensive. The better alternative, if we had been advised, was to park on the Esplanade which is a similar distance away from the apartment, but free.

Pillows could have been better and no toilet roll but that was just a small oversight and all ok.

Location was excellent in the centre of Fowey, everything on the doorstep with superb views over the river. Apartment was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and with every convenience.

loved the location and had everything we needed.

The fact it is a apartment for 4 however the water tank only holds enough hot water for 1 5 minute shower than there is no hot water at all in the apartment for showers or dishes or anything. Rang the helpline which they were aware of this and luckily enough we could use downstairs apartment but in peak season if this was occupied what would we have done !

What a view

Terrific views of the river and sea. Loads of space. Fabulous location in the town with everything in east walking distance.

A bit tricky to find - signposting could be better. Driving to the property is necessary to drop off the luggage and then it’s a bit of a steep uphill to the car park.

Beautiful Fowey, nice compact apartment, steep climb to car park!

Fowey is beautiful. The apartment was compact and clean and had wonderful views over the harbour. A lovely array of shops, restaurants and cafe's to dine at. Nice atmosphere too.

The nearest car park was an extremely steep uncomfortable hike away which with 3 suitcases etc difficult. If we were any less fit I am not sure how we would have managed it! The apartment is situated in a one way narrow street so difficult to stop outside to unload hence the car park. The apartment although clean had a damp smell which emanated from the bathroom as the shower was blocked and had previously overflowed. The hosts came out to unblock it promptly.

Great location - but some improvements needed

The views and the interior decor

Very limited hot water (1 showers worth on the Sunday of our stay). Foetid smell in the bathroom for the duration of our stay.

It was a comfortable flat for the few nights. Very expensive however.

There was no frying pan or oven mit, but in general the kitchen was well outfitted.

Space outside of the house looked like a building site (re developing flat below) and 10 minutes to tidy it would make a difference.

Gemütlicher Rückzugsort im Herzen Foweys mit Traumblick!

Unfassbar schöner Blick, gemütliche, funktional und ansprechende Ausstattung.Ideale Lage mitten in Fowey. Achtung: man muss gut zu Fuß sein! Steile, schmale Treppe, be- und entladen eine Autos verursacht Stau und damit Stress. Parkplatz ist öffentlich und weiter entfernt. Uns hat das alles aber überhaupt nicht gestört. Wir würden immer wieder kommen!
