The sheltered bay allows for swimming almost year-round in pleasant water temperatures. Even in winter, the water rarely drops below 19 degrees. The large, gently sloping beach made of black lava sand is ideal for sunbathing.
You can stroll along the long beach promenade or enjoy delicious local specialties at one of the restaurants.
From the marina, you can set out on sightseeing tours and whale- and dolphin-watching excursions.
For your daily needs, there’s a small supermarket in the same building as the apartment. There’s a bus stop about 150 meters away, so you don’t necessarily need a rental car.
