Hostal Restaurante Villa de Brihuega

What a lucky find, driving back to southern Spain. This is a modern recently refurbished hostel, very high standard. Great location in a very interesting small town.Breakfast cheap and plentiful. Also dog friendly. The bar and restaurant below is also very good with v reasonable prices.Plenty of parking on street, even on a busy Saturday night.

The location is right in the middle of the town, next to the arch leading into the historic quarter. The old façade hides the totally modern, well-equipped and comfortable rooms. The on-site bar/cafeteria was good for breakfast, as were its light options for dinner (I didn't try the restaurant)

Nothing really - Brihuega is tight for parking, but the street alongside leading up toward a gate in the walls had plenty of space

Location is the best thing about this hotel. It's a modern, clean, convenient hotel close to the town centre.

The staff (2x female receptionists) were taking forever when they were talking with other guests. We had a very quick question to ask but had to wait for over 10 minutes to get a simple answer. Is this a family-owned hotel? The receptionists were friendly but didn't look very professional. Also, we reserved 'a room with a view' and got a confirmation from the hotel, but we were on the 1st floor and all we could see was cars parked in the street.
