Perfect place for a weekend in Westport

Beautiful property, modern finish and really clean! Stunning views of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick. The property had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were so comfortable too! Perfect for a group of friends staying in Westport. About 10 minute drive to the town, lovely pubs and restaurants nearby also.

It was spotlessly clean! Very modern. Little touches like milk in the fridge and coffee/teabags. A book with advice on where to eat/what to do/local taxi numbers. Incredible location. We were there to climb the mountain and it was within walking distance. Views from the apartment were beautiful. Absolutely perfect. Instructions were so clear to pick up and drop of the key. Sent via WhatsApp before we arrived too. Can’t recommend enough!

Excellent, would stay again and recommend

Modern clean quiet comfortable apartment with enough kitchen utensils to self cater, do laundry etc. Heating that could be used manually to suit. A lovely view of the sea from the sitting area. Can walk from the door to the summit of Croag Patrick. Good communication from Barbara

Although not a problem as it wasn't cold when we were there but the underfloor heating in the bathroom wasn't working and the spray from one of the shower heads wasn't great but again not a problem as there was a rain shower head too. I reported both at the end of my stay and was told they would be passed on to the maintenance team.

The view over Clew Bay was stunning . Situation next to Croagh Patrick . Comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms per apartment. Plenty of parking . 2 pubs within walking distance. Westport is my favorite Irish country town .

It would benefit from additional plates and cutlery- to avoid the need to put to use dishwasher after every meal . Slightly improved kitchen equipment, salad bowl etc but I’m being picky here. I hope they finish the hotel beside the apartments, what a amazing location

August Holiday at Murrisk Apartments

Amazing location at the foot of Croagh Patrick & a minute walk to the sea at Clew Bay for a swim. 10 minutes drive from Westport Town. A short cycle way from the apartment to Croagh Patrick. Old Head Beach 15 minute drive. Modern apartment with a beautiful sea view . Parking & bike storage on site.

Very minor but there could be more food storage in the kitchen & a drying wrack for towels after a sea swim.

Great location, peaceful, safe and a great base to explore from.

We liked the safe, secure location. This was our 2nd stay at Murrisk Apartments and would highly recommend anyone to stay there. We used the apartments as a central base to explore Westport and travel down to Clifden. For those who like a challenge Croagh Padraig is on the doorstep to climb.

Lovely self catering apartment by the bay

The self catering apartment is located outside of the town of Westport so you need a car to go around. it is set in front of the bay so get an ocean view to enjoy it even better. It looks like the photos, it was clean, check in/check out was easy. Since it is in the countryside it is very quiet. You can walk to a pier that is located within the property. Parking is right outside in a big parking lot and it is free.

Simply perfect.

Everything was exceptional. The attention to detail was exquisite, from the communication with the host, to the visitor guide that was provided detailing places to eat, or places to visit. The apartment was stunning, beautifully decorated, extremely clean and furnished with all the amenities needed, including an oven, fridge- freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. The location was stunning, with a sea view to the front and Croagh Patrick to the back. I would recommend Murrisk Apartments to anyone. Definitely a 10/10 *

Family fun in County Mayo where all 4 of our grandparents were born.

We had 4 units for our family. We were able to walk to a pub and a wonderful restaurant. It couldn’t be closer to Crough Patrick and several of us attempted it. 7 of the younger ones (13-24) mad it to the top in the rain. We were able to get taxis to Westport pretty easily.

The view was amazing, and the apt had everything we needed. Possible to prepare a meal, enjoy the scenery. Unit was clean with ample parking. Easy check in and out. Will be back if we come by this part of the world again.

A peaceful and comfortable apartment at the foot of Croagh Patrick

The property is fabulous, our apartment was spotless and had everything that we needed. There were plenty of towels for everyone. The beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows. We arrived to find the kitchen stocked with milk, tea, coffee, sugar, When you’re self catering this makes a big difference. Plenty of parking right beside the apartment. The views from the apartment are amazing, right at the foot of Croagh Patrick.

The apartment was well equipped with everything that was required for a lovely relaxing stay. The view from the window was spectacular.

There was nothing that we didn't like. however as a suggestion a chair in the bedroom would be helpful to assist with dressing, putting on socks, shoes etc.

Wonderful location - superb apartment.

Fabulous view from apartment with large windows. Ours overlooked the sea with Creagh Patrick immediately behind. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, everything needed for a touring holiday base. Really comfy king size bed. A very modern style of decor, furniture & flooring. Easy drive into Westport.

Toilet seemed to need flushing twice every time! Some local info re pubs needs updating - the most local has closed.

Excellent place to stay

Very easy check in and out apartment spotless and so much space all the essentials in it. Fantastic view overlooking the sea. We will definitely be going back to stay there. Walking distance to a restaurant and pub if needed.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay

The location was superb, one of the best we've been to. The house was very clean and modern.

The only thing that could have been better is the furniture in the 3rd bedroom. There were no wardrobes, chest of drawers or anywhere to store clothes. If this bedroom had storage space I would rate the apartment 10 out of 10.

Check out was very early. 10am on a Sunday morning after being out in Westport the night before is not ideal. Especially considering it is not cheap to stay here

Sparkling clean and stunning views

Fantastic location. You get the best of both worlds--a sea view and a mountain view. The location was perfect as it was situated in a quiet area but also not far from the town. The apartment itself was excellent, clean and well prepared upon arrival. We especially liked the kitchen/living room with the best view to sea.

The view- it is literally breathtaking and the windows in the apartment make the most of it- from the framing above the kitchen area to the huge ones by the living area. In the 5 days we were there we saw Clew Bay in every weather- all stunning.

Fantastic stay in a stunning setting. Within walking distance of 2 great pubs.

The location is absolutely stunning. The apartments are new and spotlessly clean. It was very easy to get in with the lock box. The views from the kitchen were amazing, Croagh Patrick at the back and the Atlantic to the front. The beds are very comfortable.

Would be a good idea to put a basic first aid box in each apartment along with a hairdryer and an iron. Other than that, can't fault the place.

Just home from an amazing week. Absolutely stunning location and superb apartment. Fully equipped and spotless. Milk in fridge on arrival which was a lovely touch and very welcoming. Amazing for a family with kids. Amazing beaches within a 5 minute drive and breathtaking view of the reek and sea.. Will definitely be returning.
