Courtyard Ames

The hotel was very clean, easy to access, and the staff was friendly. The coffee was good in the morning. We came down to help my daughter move and it made a great place to stay.

They have a bar and restaurant, and it was closed. I would say it happens often because the sign that was up was laminated, and you could tell it had been used before. My husband and I look for hotels where we can drink and eat, so that we do not have to drive if we have been drinking. This was disappointing. We were looking forward to a relaxed evening at the bar.

Shower stall makes a mess there is no way to either adjust the shower head down and not a total enclosure causing the floor to become soaked

Our room was well decorated and the hotel was centrally located.

The bed was very uncomfortable, the sofa bed didn't have sheets, it had a weird 1/3 sheet... the pool was freezing cold. And when we checked in we were given our keys and room number. Went to the room, keys didn't work. Went back to the desk and were told we were given the wrong room number and that our room was on the other side of the hotel. Were not given a folio at check in. I was asked to insert my card for payment and hold for insedentals, fine. My card was run for $120 + $20... I even questioned that amount. I was told yes it was correct. Then in the middle of the night I received an email saying my total was $136 something. The entire stay was strange. The towels were literally thread bare.
