Recently returned from a week long stay and we didn’t want to leave! The chalet was very clean and modern, couldn’t fault it. The views from the garden are incredible and it is a short walk (10-15 mins) to Samoens centre with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes to pick from. We travelled with our two young children (11 months and 2.5 years old), there were stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs, and toys to keep them entertained. Jean-Marie even provided a pushchair for us to borrow. Whilst the garden isn’t completely enclosed, the chalet is located down a small cul-de-sac and the surrounding roads are very quiet. There are also big patio doors looking out into the garden so it felt very safe to let our 2 year old run around outside whilst we kept an eye from inside. Communication with the owner was fantastic. We are already planning a return trip!

We had the most perfect stay at Chalet Josaly. A warm welcome from the lovely Jean-Marie, a tour of the facilities with information and contact details shared. The Chalet was in a perfect location, just 15min walk to the Grand Massif lifts/ village centre or a 2min car drive. The chalet was spacious with a boot room & ski store for all the ski wear. Cooking facilities and a BBQ were well stocked for all needs and the hot tub and sauna were perfect after a day on the slops. Sun loungers, alfresco dinning and an endless supply of games were thoroughly enjoyed by us all. We will definitely be back to stay next year! Thank you

A perfect chalet if you have a car and want to stay in Samoens

We spent a week at Chalet Josaly in February 23. The accommodation was great. There were 4 large bedrooms, 3 of which were double beds with en-suite shower room and the 4th bedroom had bunk beds and no en-suite. There was an upstairs bathroom with washing machine and dryer in and a separate toilet. Downstairs was one of the 3 doubles with a toilet opposite the entrance to the room. The property was beautiful with great views of the mountains. It was lovely and warm, so much so that we often had a window or 2 open overnight to make sure it wasn’t too warm. We were 2 families of 4 and there was plenty of space for us all. There was a dartboard in the dining area that kept the kids busy as well as an outdoor hot tub which again the our daughters loved (kids ages 17/16/14/14). The owner also offers services such as a bakery pick up in the morning, you just have to order by 8pm the previous night. There is also a wine fridge in the property that you can buy wine from too which was super convenient when we ran out of wine (ashamed to admit that happened!). The owner was also very quick to respond with any queries we had so great communication though they admitted their English isn’t great but was absolutely fine to communicate with. Overall we had a lovely week at the chalet and would recommend it highly to anyone interested.

I cannot recommend this chalet enough. It is a beautiful traditional modern chalet finished to the highest standards and is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The views from the chalet bedrooms and garden are magnificent overlooking fields and mountains. It is located in an extremely peaceful and tranquil area where you can hear birdsong during the day and a great place for star gazing in the evening. It is only a 10 minute stroll to the centre of Samoens which is a beautiful market town with fabulous restaurants, bakeries, delis and shops….plus access to the Grand Massif cable car. An abundance of stunning walks nearby during the summer months.

Wonderful chalet

Elodie is the perfect host and responded very quickly to any questions. The chalet was clean and well appointed. The beds were v comfortable! The setting was lovely - a quick walk into town, a 10-15 min walk to the cable car or you can just jump on the bus at the end of the street. Would recommend!

Elodie's chalet Josaly is a beautiful property, we stayed there with two family's with young children and really appreciated the space and the size of the rooms. Everyone loved the hot tub. Nothing feels skimped on, everything is very high end from the kitchen appliances to the bathrooms. The boot/drying room is really useful for those having some wet days on the mountains! Use the Blue route ski bus to get back and forth to the Grand Massiff Express and combine it with ski lockers at the foot of the lifts to make moving round the town really easy. We loved it, so pleased we booked it after a long search. Delighted.

Très beau chalet, bien équipé aussi bien à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur : des chambres spacieuses avec salle de bain dans chacune d’elle, une cuisine bien équipée et fonctionnelle, un salon confortable où jeux de société pour petits et grands nous ont permis de jouer en famille, terrasse agréable le matin et le soir et jaccuzi très apprécié en fin de journée. Superbe chalet, bien situé, au calme, à proximité du centre de samoëns. Des activités variées pour petits et grands (baignade au lac, randonnées, accrobranche, baptême en parapente, balade à poney…) Un accueil très chaleureux, des informations et conseils très appréciés sur les randonnées et activités… Le petit plus : un plateau d’accueil avec d’excellents produits du terroir. Très bon séjour en famille.

We had a great time with family and friends. The house was very clean and is equipped very well so you can easily do your own cooking if you want to. Garden and Whirlpool are very nice. For the kid bed, chair and some things to play were provided. Would definitiely recommend to stay here. Thank you very much!

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable dans ce chalet haut de gamme , les prestations sont de très haute qualité , il est très bien équipé , spacieux et très confortable. Le jacuzzi est super pour se détendre le soir ! La vue est splendide , le dépaysement total , et proche du centre , à quelques minutes à pieds seulement , ce qui est un plus ! Vraiment magnifique , tous les critères sont réunis pour passer de belles vacances entre amis ou en famille avec tout l'espace et le confort nécessaires pour chacun Merci à la propriétaire Elodie pour son accueil très chaleureux et sa disponibilité

La maison est très agréable, bien équipée et joliment décorée. Nous avons bien profité du jacuzzi ! Nous étions 7 et nous nous sommes sentis comme a la maison. la maison est a 10min a pied du centre de Samoens et très proche des remontées. L'accueil de Elodie est très sympathique et le miel est très bon ! Nous gardons cette adresse en tête et espérons revenir pour de futures vacances

Nous revenons râvis de notre semaine de vacances en période COVID, c’est à dire sans remontées mécaniques. Nous avons profité du confort du chalet qui est extrêmement bien pensé et très agréable. L’équipement est au top (bonne marque d’électroménager, appareils a fondue et pierrade , très bonne literie, salles d’eau et de bains au top), la deco très bien pensée, c’est spacieux, et il y a même un jacuzzi, une cheminée et un jeu de fléchettes. Il y a également plein de jeux de société mis à disposition ainsi que deux luges. Nous avons profité de la localisation pour nous balader dans le village, faire de la luge, ainsi que faire de belles promenades dans les environs. La propriétaire est très gentille (Accueil très chaleureux) et extrêmement réactive. Nous recommandons vivement.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le chalet est spacieux, neuf, tout confort, avec une belle vue dégagé. Le centre de Samoëns est facilement accessible à pied. Tout était parfait, nous reviendrons sans hésiter ! Un grand merci à Elodie et Jean-Marie pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité.

Le chalet est très propre et parfaitement équipé de tout le confort moderne. Il ne manque rien... Les chambres sont spacieuses et chacune dispose d’une salle de bain moderne et de qualité. La terrasse est également bien équipée, calme et sans bruits alentours. Nous avons pu profiter du jacuzzi après une bonne randonnée. Nous avons été accueillis par la propriétaire qui est charmante et disponible. Le chalet est idéalement situé, à 5 minutes à pied du centre de Samoëns. Petit village dynamique, animé qui propose de nombreuses activités praticables en famille. Merci pour ce séjour, nous nous sommes régalés.
