Les Ô d'Annecy

The owners are fabulous. Beautiful property. There’s a treehouse with a net, that is spectacular. They have a fabulous dog. The owners are great conversationalist.

Please note there is no mini refrigerator in the room so if you bring home leftovers or need to keep snacks cool, you cannot do that in your room. They were able to fit a small pouch of medication in their downstairs refrigerator for us. Also, please note that you must carry all of your luggage upstairs. They cannot carry it for you, and we had just had fresh injuries so we had to leave our luggage downstairs in the lobby and not put it in our room. It does feel like there should be a staff member that can assist you with your luggage up the stairs. There is no coffee maker in the room, you’ll need to go downstairs in the common area.

The first night was a bit stuffy but they adjusted the AC and it was much better!

A beautiful stay with wonderful hosts. We were staying for four nights and had a fantastic time. The home cooked meal on Friday was delicious. The breakfasts were also fantastic with local produce and everything you need. The hosts were very welcoming and offered excellent suggestions as to what to do in the area.

This isn’t directed at the property but the booking system for the Spa is based on the other gusts following the rules and unfortunately, we missed out on using the spa one day because another couple selfishly kept changing the timer outside to have the spa to themselves.

Our stay at Les O d'Annecy was inspirational, with spectacular views overlooking the mountains and lake. Bernard and Ta were perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. They provided beautifully prepared breakfasts that included homemade jams and delicious local cheeses. There was also the offer of freshly cooked Thai dishes for evening meals if you wanted them. The extensive grounds were planted with Scots pines and an impressive treehouse. The house, with accommodation, was charming and well equipped. And the hot tub and pool were a real bonus. A truly memorable holiday.
