The House of Gratitude - Poolside Retreat

Superfint läge med fin och mysigt poolområde och trädgård och fina terasser. Boendet överlag var fint och skönt med AC i varje sovrum som fungerade toppen. I övrigt fint, fräsch och bekvämt. Nära, 5 minuters promenad till närmsta strand/bad samt gyrosställe och mindre minimarket nedanför backen. Inte så turistigt, vilket är skönt om man gillar det som vi! EN fruktmarknad precis nedanför backen till huset på tisdagar.

Dusch/Avlopp på översta lägenheten var ganska dålig samt en avloppslukt som kom och gick i lägenheten och köket på översta våningen. Hade varit ett extra plus om det funnits ett litet info. blad om boendet, karta över området/byn, wifi, tips på utflykter, restauranger, sevärdheter etc.

We liked the pool area and the terraces.

We had to wait 30 min when we arrived for someone to arrive at the house and ipen it up - and then it was not cleaned, that is really bad, so we hade to leave the house at once for a fwe hours during the cleaning. And the day of the departure we could stay to 14.00 so that was good - but we were denied to stay at the pool area until 16.00 when our taxi arrived - that was strange and really unconvenient - why could we not stay - there was no one at the house - no cleaning staff or no new guests. That was handled bad by the hosts. Also - we could not use the grill and the sitting area next to the grill was really awful, the pillows full of bird shit and filth.

Great pool, fantastic property. Amazing views - watch the sunrise over the Saronic Gulf - and fully equipped in every respect. Walking distance to nice pebbly beaches with clear water and friendly Greeks, good coffee and food. Easy driving for Corinth, Mycenae and lots of magical places. We loved the Heraion.

Equipment is old in many cases - not really an issue. The oven broke upstairs, but the staff rushed in to fix it the following day. The area is noisy, with dogs barking and various alarms at night.
