Het uitzicht van het appartement is fantastisch. De hele dag varen er bootjes langs. Bij mooi weer heb je 's middags nog de zon op je balkon. Het bed lag lekker en het is er erg rustig. Geen lawaai van binnen of buiten. Vlakbij het strand en een mooi zwembad in de tuin (al heb je daar niet veel aan in december ;-). Je loopt zo over het strand het authentieke vissersstadje in. Leuk!
De hele periode dat we er waren (kleine week) was het licht op de gang defect (ook de noodverlichting). Je moest 's avonds met een zaklamp door het gebouw lopen. Waarschijnlijk was het appartement al een tijdje niet verhuurd. Het voelde klam/vochtig aan in het appartement, niet heel prettig. De ramen waren 's ochtends helemaal nat aan de binnenkant. Het appartement is naar onze mening een beetje gedateerd.

Location was great. Apartment was lovely and clean; obviously well cared for. Lovely soft towels.
Only slight criticism was lack of any instructions on how to use appliances, such as cooker, hob and washing machine and TV

The location and the apartment itself,
but it was let down by some management shortcomings. (see below)
A. We were in Apt 4, got in on Fri evening and retrieved keys from box, including the key for the front door. However this key did not work. After some time someone on the inside opened the door for us and explained that a code was needed. They accepted that we were guests and gave us the access code. This front door code requirement was not in the instructions received.
B. The safe in the apt was closed and locked and the instructions in the folder dis not show how to open a locked safe. It needed a master key to open and reset it. I contacted the company - Rental Valley - by email on Sun 26th and called them on Tues 28th Jul. They would have to send a representative to open it.
C. We decided to cook on Sunday but found that the instructions available did not correspond to the type of hob - Teka ceramic induction hob. When the cooking ring was selected the number shows for some minutes and then started flashing and the hob shut down. The instructions in the booklet were useless as they referred to a different model of hob. Eventually on Tuesday when we made contact with Rental Valley by phone it was suggested that the pan may have be put on the selected plate first before it will heat up, and this turned out to be that case. As we are gas users at home this was unknown to us and as the Instructions provided were for a different hob type they were of no use to us. The oven instructions were also not relevant to the type supplied but we dealt with that ourselves.
These three matters undermined our enjoyment of the location and the otherwise good apartment. These three items should have been sorted by good management practice, and not by a guest bringing these to management's attention.
