Apartamento Jacadi

Die Unterkunft war sehr angenehm und modern sowie geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie liegt in guter Nähe zum Strand, und sowohl der Stadtkern von Ferragudo als auch der Marktplatz sind in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der eigene Grill, mit dem man wunderbar frischen Fisch zubereiten kann. Den Fisch haben wir frisch vom Ferragudo Market geholt, aus der kleinen Garage am Markt, dienstags auch vom Fischmarkt in Portimão mit seiner großen Auswahl. Dort sollte man sich den Fisch am besten direkt mit Eis einpacken lassen. Alternativ ist auch der Continente in Parchal mit dem Uber schnell erreichbar. So isst man deutlich günstiger als im Restaurant und trotzdem sehr gut. Kohle gibt es auch direkt in Ferragudo im Supermarkt aber leider nur ab 5kg, was für zwei mal grillen deutlich zu viel war. Der Strand Praia Grande ist Fußläufig nur maximal 5 Minuten entfernt, aber Obacht wenn ma mit Kindern und Kinderwägen/Buggys unterwegs ist, ihr müsst eine sehr lange steile Treppe nach unten. Dafür habt ihr eine sauberen großen Strand mit genügend Liegen (leider sehr teuer, 25€ pro Liege) und genügend Strandbars.

Leider lösten sich an einigen Stellen bereits die Sockelleisten am Boden, und ein Fenster ließ sich nicht abschließen. Wir haben dies der Besitzerin gemeldet, und es wird hoffentlich bald behoben. Außerdem könnte das Apartment einen neuen Staubsauger vertragen. Abgesehen davon gab es nichts auszusetzen.

Everything was good to great but not awesome. Considering the price I think it was fairly good value for money. We stayed for the entire month of March 2026. Ferragudo was a good base to explore the western half of the Algarve by rental car and on foot (drive somewhere, hike for 10-15 km, take a Bolt back to the rental car). - Location: back side of old Ferragudo with a hill between the apartment and Ferragudo old-town waterfront. The beach (Praia Grande) is 200 m away, from the terrace you can see a sliver of where where the sea and the Arade River meet, other than that views of the various neat estates on Ferragudo hill, the parking for the nearby beaches, and the not too busy road connecting new Ferragudo with old Ferragudo - Parking: No private, dedicated parking but there was always sufficient public parking adjacent to the estate - Shopping: Good stores (Continente, Aldi, Lidl) close by but you need a car and you navigate through Ferragudo old-town every time (6 minutes) - Lovely private rooftop terrace with loungers, a table and chairs for meals though it can get windy up there (can be cool in March but probably comfortably warm later in the year) - Heated bathroom floor was a bonus but minor annoyances like nowhere to place shower gel and shampoo except on the floor of the (large) shower space, toilet and basin set up noticeably higher than is the norm (dangling legs), basin potentially difficult to reach for kids - Kitchen functional also with minor annoyances like double door to reach the fridge content (fridge within a cabinet) - Beds were comfortable but with a small gap between the mattresses - Lounge area with semi-comfortable couch with TV (bring your own Netflix/Spotify/YouTube works well) - Living area with enough space for two people to do yoga - Air conditioner that can also heat which was very welcome as the apartment was still a bit chilly in March - Washing machine but no tumble dryer. Enough space to hang up clothes in the living area

For most people the road would not be a problem but for those seeking pure quiet, the traffic was noisy at times especially with passing motorbikes. Nights were quiet enough in March, I suspect during high season it could be noisier with more traffic.

Krásné klidné místo, velký apartmán, nádherná střešní terasa. Centrum města v dosahu chůzí.Líbilo by se nám tu i v létě, je blízko na pěknou pláž.
