Lovely

Location, albeit the entrance being blocked by restaurant staff was a little off putting, but once inside the views were great.

It’s a little tired, could do with a spruce up. Also the lock didnt work so had to get a locksmith. Also sash windows kept sticking.

Beautiful, lovely, great view, big apartment.

The apartment was lovely. Amazing location. Lots of space for two families didn’t feel on top of each other. Great that the two main bedrooms had on suites. The view is amazing. Lots to do in a very short distance. Would definitely stay again.

The washing machine made the clothes smell funny, probably just needs a clean. The alley to the apartments isn’t very nice, it didn’t bother us but might bother others. Like I said neither of them things would put us off staying again!

Brilliant 4 bedroom apartment in heart of mevagissey

location is super in heart of mevagissey and fantastic views. the apartment is very well equipped for whatever you need. parking is about a 200m walk away

Being harbourside, there are a lot of seagulls and they are noisy! especially if warm and windows open. Only one fan that we could find in the place. couldn't work out how to use dryer

Very comfortable but all too brief

THE LOCATION WAS SUPERB OVERLOOKING THE HARBOUR WITH TERIFFIC SUN RISES/SETS. IT WAS ADJACENT TO ALL THE AMENITIES

THE EXTERNAL ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY AT THE REAR OF A RESTAURANT WAS DISAPOINTING AND WAS AT ODDS WITH THE QUALITY OF THE APARTMENT ONCE ENTRY WAS ACHIEVED. THE ACCESS NEEDS TO BE UPGRADED. THE ALLOCATED FREE CAR PARKING WAS THE FARTHEST FROM THE PROPERTY SO WASNT USED. RECONSIDER OFFERING A CLOSER CAR PARK

Amazing

Fabulous view, location, facilities, spacious, everything was there that you needed amazing place to stay will visit again had the best time ever with my family.

The entrance could look alot better and the staff from the restaurant sit on the steps smoking and taking their break, the twin room had no sockets in it, with a larger group would be beneficial to have a shower over the bath. Just nitpicky things otherwise perfection and will be coming back.

location and facilities the view from the front windows was spectacular the kitchen was well equipped comfortable beds

the approach to the entrance was a little off putting, very dirty, with sharks fin restaurant staff often sitting on the steps , but inside has excellent amenities. Some outdoor cleaning would make a big difference, maybe a pot of flowers at the door. the outside space is unusable, dirty and no table or chairs so don’t advertise it as communal terrace. we would really have appreciated a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival as we all wanted a drink after travelling and there was no sign of the advertised welcome package.

This was the worse part as booking.com gave us mid information.. the wrong code , the name to contact no longer serviced the apartment!! It was a stressful time trying to get the code to enter

Pleasant Stay

Brilliant location beautiful views, there were a few pubs restaurants in the Quay, but were very busy so you would have to queue to get a seat, boat trips were available and a large car park a short walk away which we had a permit for arranged by the owner.The apartment was huge and had everything you needed .

The apartment in some of the areas we're very dirty, which was not very good a bit of attention to detail with presentation was needed. It dosnt say clearly in the description about how many steps/stairs there are for access, this apartment would not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Unfortunately my aunt caught covid the day before and couldn't come , she would have found it very difficult. One of the beds had a bit in it so a bit uncomfortable and some of the towels were dirty😐. Overall a fantastic apartment just let down by the cleanliness ☹

Amazing! But...

Fantastic location- which makes any slight quibbles with accommodation pale into insignificance- blissfully beautiful; towels and little extras like washing tablets ,( there's a washer dryer- not on the info- although request that if you use the last of something that you replace it; seemed a bit steep given the cost of the accommodation....), hairdyers etc Lovely place to visit- would certainly be back !

Access to the apartment is via a very dark and slippery alley way and up steep metal steps- this wasn't clear on the information provided prior to our visit- the entrance is tricky to find and I had to ask in the restaurant below for help! Only one set of keys- considering the apartment sleeps 8 and has three double rooms, it might be anticipated that more than one couple would be staying, so might need keys ( we visited with my parents and my brother and his partner- three 'family units' who wanted to spend time doing our own thing as well as together). Only two parking permits with property ( again, not made clear at time of booking); additional one bought for £40 for the week- not extortionate, but an expense not anticipated.

The apartment is ideally located right in the centre of town. The lounge diner is huge and has all the appliances you would expect. The view over the harbour is spectacular and I lost count of the number of pictures we took for our Facebook and Instagram pages. The sofas in the lounge were really comfortable too as were the beds. The showers were also very good with excellent water pressure.

There was occasional noise from the restaurant downstairs but we think that was staff after hours rather than customers.

The view alone makes this apartment worth it.

The view from the lounge/dining room was amazing (ie the harbour/sea). It is a very spacious apartment. The living room/dining room/kitchen was a very good size. Excellent cleanliness. Large fridge/freezer and well equipped kitchen. We appreciated the three bathrooms. The location is in the centre of the village and right on the harbour. Easy walk to shops and restaurants (restaurants at the bottom of apartment!). Also, the location allows good access to the main roads in Cornwall and is therefore, a good base to explore Cornwall. The town itself is pretty and has a relaxed feel. The beach is not on the doorstep and requires a walk. The car park is about 5 minutes easy walk on the flat from the apartment. Cars can drive close to the apartment for drop offs and pick ups via the village one-way system. Contactless check-in via a key safe. Books and DVD were locked up due to Covid.

The apartment would not suit anyone who needs an accessible access as there are a short flight of stairs (top of three storey building is my guess). The access to the penthouse is through a very short back alley of a restaurant. The windows could have better sound proofing (think the windows are single glazing) We were there in the weekend and one of our party could hear loud customers exiting the restaurants at the bottom one evening. Also some noise can be heard In general, the town is quiet at night. One of the double beds had a slight dip in it. We would advise anyone visiting Cornwall to book restaurants way in advance. Some of the restaurants were fully booked for two weeks when we were there.

Beautiful apartment

The property is lovely and well equipped with all you need. It is in an excellent location near to lots of lovely restaurants and shops. The entranceway is down an alley behind one of the restaurants but it did not bother us at all. You are given a free permit to a car park which is very close by. We had a fantastic family holiday and would definitely stay there again.

The mattresses weren’t that comfortable.
