The Garden Suite boasts stunning views of the Kalamazoo River and lush, natural landscapes from its bedroom and private balcony overlooking the water. The bright and cozy suite features a queen-size bed, a walk-in closet with mini-refrigerator, a private bath with shower, and is the only suite that doesn’t require climbing stairs. Just feet away from the common area, living space and communal pantry, luxury, privacy, and hospitality await you.

A warm attitude of hospitality welcomes you to Taste on the Lakeshore. The property features a private dock with FREE use of canoes and kayaks, fishing on the Kalamazoo River, large fire pit on the patio, and herb and flower gardens to enjoy. Our facilities are arranged for a romantic stay.
• Free on-site parking.
• Coffee, tea and snacks are available in the 24-hour Guest Pantry.
• Price includes a Full English breakfast. Complimentary wine and snacks are available late afternoon.
• Laundry available.
• Not suitable for children under 12.
Minimum Stay
The Garden Suite requires a two-day minimum stay booking.
During Your Stay
Dennis and Jim live on the property in the Owners’ Suite and are available and willing to assist with itineraries, local information, and other recommendations. Each suite in Taste on the Lakeshore has a complete Guest’s Guidebook to the community and surrounding areas. Both owners have distinguished backgrounds in the hospitality industry, culinary arts, and higher education. They look forward to helping you create lasting memories of Western Michigan while respecting your need for privacy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Dennis and Jim. Our accommodations were comfortable and clean. Dennis's breakfasts were scrumptious and were made complete with Jim's hospitality and kitchen support! The patio in the back overlooking the river looks just like the pictures, and we enjoyed several evenings watching the wildlife. Great conversations with the hosts and other guests. We would absolutely stay again!

We highly recommend staying with Jim and Dennis if you have the chance. They are so kind and welcoming, and their home is in a peaceful but convenient location. It's the perfect spot to unwind. And of course, I cannot leave a review without mentioning their delicious breakfast! Cheers!

Our stay was fantastic, relaxing. Jim and Dennis share their house with guests. They are very accommodating. They serve a wonderful breakfast with enjoyable conversions with them and the other guests. Highly recommended this place!
