About this apartment rental
Relax on the balcony and enjoy the gorgeous lagoon and ocean views. This spacious 7th floor suite overlooks the famous Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and Beach with ocean views of the famous surf spot Kaiser Bowls.
The suite is nicely decorated with one Queen size bed and one Queen size sofa bed, to accommodate up to 4 people. There is a full kitchen with granite countertops, complete with a full size refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all the basic cookware, utensils, and dishes. The unit is also equipped with a flat screen cable TV and air conditioning. Free high speed internet Wifi is provided with a dedicated router in the room.
Enjoy the amenities of the Ilikai. Take a swim or lounge by the pool. There is a full size outdoor pool and a new bathing pool (shallow and perfect for sunbathing or small children). Lounge chairs and seating areas with tables are sprawled around the pool and entire hotel grounds. There are numerous shops, eateries, and bars all on site and many more within walking distance of the hotel. Top off each evening with a torch lighting ceremony in the courtyard just before sunset, and on Fridays enjoy fireworks from the lagoon to start your weekend off with a bang.
Prime location - close to everything! Steps from the beach and Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, and just about anything you want to do is nearby - numerous beach and ocean activities, shopping malls and boutique shops, restaurants and bars are all within minutes of the hotel. Perfect location for an awesome vacation!
Parking is available and is paid directly on site: $45/day valet parking. at the Ilikai, $33/day self-parking at the Marina Garage next door, or self parking in the harbor lots behind the hotel for $1/hr with the ability to ad time by phone or online. (*Parking rates subject to change)
We do not accept 2-night bookings unless they start or end next to another booking. Please contact us for more information regarding 2-night bookings.

Everything was fine except for the exceedingly noisy air conditioner and the balcony could use a good cleaning and new furnishings.

We can't say enough about the location and the beautiful view off of the balcony. We watched the fireworks from our balcony, it was a perfect setting. Check in was easy.
We don't like to leave negative reviews but the unit itself was lacking. The carpet is old and that's OK, IF there were not a lot of stains everywhere. It gives the appearance right when you walk in the unit is dirty. It was great to have A/C, but it's super loud. The bathroom shower stall was full of mildew/mold. The tile area was nicely caulked in some areas, however several areas were not, especially around the shower pan where it meets the tile. (This could be due to not having a bathroom exhaust fan operating) There is a tile missing in the bathroom under the towel rack. Under the kitchen sink was not wiped out at all. There was a big rusty area that just needed a wipe down. We did not cook a thing while there, (we were on vacation :), however the oven door was very greasy.
The pillows are NOT comfortable at all, as well, there is a mattress pad that is foam and you can feel each and every one of the cone like things that are supposed to make the mattress more comfortable....NOT!! There were bird droppings all over the table on the balcony as well the rusted out chairs were not usable.
The location however again, is a 5. We are coming back in March. If this unit was cleaner, we would not hesitate to rent again.
