Gorgeous Cave House with Stunning Oia Views

Gorgeous cave house in Oia with magnificent views and a perfect location. Our host was wonderful! He arranged airport pick-up, met us on arrival, and even helped with our luggage. He also shared great recommendations for places to eat and kindly made dinner reservations for us. An unforgettable stay!

Amazing room and experience

The Blue Dome Suite is up high in Oia, so it has nice privacy, which is not always the case in Oia. It has an incredible view. There is a restaurant above the upstairs balcony, so you will hear music all day which we enjoyed. One of the Oia cats has picked the Blue Dome Suite balcony as a path between napping spots on the roofs, so you may get to meet him. Our host, Timis (Timmy), was incredibly helpful and friendly. He gave us restaurant recommendations which were great and helped with reservations and transportation around the island. Ersi was a great help, too.

The only nitpick is that the shower water didn't get hot. It ranged from cold to lukewarm. The weather was up to 32°C while we were there, so a lukewarm shower was fine. It might be chilly in cooler weather.

You MUST stay here when visiting Oia

100/10. Everything about this stay was AMAZING!!! The location, the view 😍, the apartment, the terrace, bedroom, shower, everything. It was also very clean and in great conditions. If you visit Oia you need to stay here. Also, the host was incredibly attentive. He would assist with everything we needed and also sent us great recommendations for restaurants. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Santorini.

Relaxing

Very unique cave style room with an outdoor jacuzzi and sensational view, also very clean and tidy. The host was very friendly and helpful in recommending places to visit in Santorini. It is in a really convenient spot close to the main attractions in Oia but away from the crowded parts so it was fairly quiet and peaceful.

The jacuzzi could have been slightly warmer and at times felt like it wasn’t working properly (with the bubbles).

Poor value for money. Poor unaccomidating host. Other places near by, better value and cheaper.

Decent location

Pictures say one thing and actual room says another. Bugs were found inside the room. No breakfast provided when they charge very expensive prices. Owner was rude, not accomodating and always pretended he needed to speak to ‘management’ before making decisions when he was the only one there. There was no management. Other nicer place nearby for a lot cheaper.

Great place to stay in Oia! We would definitely stay here again.

Our room was in a great location, just down from the main walkway in Oia. The entrance to our room was from a lower, less traveled walkway, which gave our room extra privacy. Our terrace was completely private and had amazing views. The room was very spacious and had good in-room amenities.

Our stay included breakfast but we didn't understand that we were supposed to go sit on the other property's terrace and wait for someone to bring us our food. One morning when we showed up, our food was already sitting out on a table so it was cold. We also weren't sure if any of the cats had touched our food. There weren't any indoor seating options for breakfast so one morning we sat out in the rain and our food got soggy.

Do not hesitate for a moment; book this property.

The location is absolutely ideal and the views are stunning. There’s an excellent restaurant just above. The hot tub is a dream, and the bed is the most comfortable we’ve encountered in several weeks in Greece. Do note that this is not an appropriate spot for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast was consistently lovely, and our concierge, Christos, was so kind, attentive, and helpful. He elevated our stay immeasurably. Having the option to have our room tidied daily while at breakfast was a true luxury. I cannot say enough good things.

Blue Dome Suite is the way to go!

Perfect location in the middle of Oia. The room (blue dome suite) and bathroom were basic but comfortable and had everything we needed. The highlight of this accommodation however is the spiral staircase that leads from the room up to a private terrace with a decent size hottub and an incredible view of the entire caldera. So beautiful and peaceful, we spend a lot of time up there because the city itself was too crammed with tourists in July. The view here is absolutely EVERYTHING!

The emergency exist sign in our bedroom - it was so bright at night that it was hard to sleep without an eye mask.

Wonderful stay in central Oia

Excellent staff. Great breakfast delivered to our door each morning after ordering online from a menu the night before. Great meetup upon arrival and helped with luggage on departure including being able to hold our luggage after checkout. The view is incredible over the caldera. It was fairly private despite being near Strogili restaurant. Not many steps to climb and super centrally located in Oia!

Maybe increase the height of privacy fence at back of outdoor patio (we found trash on the pool liner one morning—probably from a restaurant patron above—not the hotel’s fault). Add some potted plants to elevate the space. Maybe add a moveable shade umbrella to the back of the swing for additional privacy? I liked the swing but would’ve preferred large lounge chairs for ease of use. But it was idyllic to sit in the jacuzzi or on the swing and watch life go on in the caldera. This was great value for the $$$. Very private considering one is in central Oia. Nice to be within minutes walk to shop’s & restaurants! Great housekeeping , a dehumidifier and wonderful AC in the room. We had a wonderful stay!

Great location but I wish the hottub had acesss from inside

Saw insects inside property dead on the floor. The hottub had a weird smell. The door handle to the property was broken and was told its just old. Hard to lock the door. The ceiling was a little to low hit my head getting to bed. The bathroom was half painted towards the bathroom side.

Super nice view of oia and caldera from the balcony. Best place to see the sunrise. Hot tub is an extra plus. And it was located close to everything you need. And special thanks go to Dimitris who was very helpful and super nice.
