The Retreat

The location was perfect, near to the Town and Supermarket

The layout of room and loved the artwork on walls. Lovely walk in shower. Thank goodness there was private car parking on site...the road and surrounding roads were just packed, and narrow.

The noise from Sheringham carnival especially on parade night! I kept out of Sheringham until the weekend as it was packed and the main car park was filled with the fun fair.

Location, parking, tranquil decor, peaceful stay- just left to relax and come and go as we like. A perfect break.

Needed another plug for kettle. Was a bit of a faff when using the coffee machine and kettle. That said, the coffee machine was an added bonus to instant coffee.

The Avenue is a lovely place to have The Retreat. Our accommodation was cosy and had all we needed for a perfect stay. At night the peace and quiet was just what we needed coming from the noise and chaos of central Bristol. I slept very well in the comfortable bed, sleeping is not my forte but I was very settled here. We did not use the car the entire time of our stay. Quick and easy to walk to the beach, shops, cafes etc. The bus route to Cromer was an easy task too. I hope on my next visit to come to The Retreat again. Thank you Lisa & Steve.
