We had a great time visiting. The house was exactly as pictured. There is a bedroom and bathroom on each level so everyone had their own space.

A great location just a few minutes drive from downtown Helen. The cabin was clean and spacious. Very relaxing setting.

This property looks fantastic from the outside, but it needs some updating. CONS:Some of the blinds were broken and taped. The oven set off the smoke detector when we were preheating it to bake potatoes. The tub on the main floor is missing the plug so a bath cannot be taken. We were going to grill steaks one night but upon opening, the grates were so dirty. We tried to find a metal brush to scrub or clean but there was not one. The coffee pot was broken and leaking. Once I let the property manager know, they brought a new one. The television on the main floor has a line across the bottom during watching any program. They provide ONE dishtowel and ONE washcloth for the kitchen. Later on, we are looking in a little bag by the sink and it had a scrubby and dish cleaner. It was our fault we didn't find it sooner. Lastly, upon entering, the whole house had a "musky" smell. It did dissipate eventually.PROS:It's located in a really nice area of Helen. The beds were nice but not enough blankets, just sheets and bedspreads on them. *Note for the elderly, the stairs are steep. It was a pretty property from the outside, but it just needs someone to go in and fix all the little issues that just make you go "UGGGHHHH". The house has a washer and dryer if you need to do your clothes, but they don't provide a small amount of detergent so bring your own. Water gets hot and the air/heat works nicely.
