If you enjoy walking it will take approximately 20 minutes to walk to Katoomba Railway Station and village shops. Cafes & restaurants are close to Rose Cottage.
Or a 3 minute bus ride which you can catch around the corner from Rose Cottage. Taxis are also available. Leura is also just a short drive away with its many speciality shops, cafes and restaurants.

We had a lovely stay at Rose Cottage. This is a lovely house, very comfortable and has all the amenities you need. Very warm heaters, and lots of games etc. Fantastic location, only a 10 min walk to Echo Point, and can hear and see lyrebirds nearby. Really great place to stay.

Lovely house with a gorgeous garden and a well equipped kitchen. Communication with the host was easy and prompt, and included lots of local recommendations. We'd certainly stay again!
