Generally we were happy with everything. Patrizia replied promptly to all my questions & in English & left the key in the safe as we arrived past midnight. Kitchen was squeaky clean & very well equipped, with few basics like salt, sugar & coffee. Utility room had all the necessary things too. Comfy beds & lots of wardrobes, towels & bedding available. Location was good for us, local shop on the way to the beach to buy essentials & fresh panini in the morning (but lack of choice & more expensive than bigger supermarkets). Quiet street, view of the marble mountain. Nets in windows. Plenty of street parking (even though in the ad it says no parking). The best beach nearby is Spiaggia di Su Barone (€5 per day), felt almost private, with crystal clear waters, pine trees along the edge with picnic tables & seating in the shade, children playground, & car park right nearby under the trees, biggish bar/restaurant. We kept returning to it after visiting many others). Close proximity for other good places to visit (Cala Gonone, mountain villages Mamoieda & Orgosolo, & boat trips from Orosei marina to the best beaches Cala Mariole, Cala Goloritze, Cala dei Gabbiani, Grotta del Fico, Grotta Bue Marina, Cala Luna; and to the other side - Oasi Biderosa, Cala Liberotto etc ) & lots of agroturismo choice around.

No air-con, only fans in each room - it would have probably been ok in a typical year, but this year it was really hot (in Jul22) , so fans were not enough. No wifi, I did not realise this from the property description until we arrived & I asked about it. Just a recommendation - it would be helpful to have a book/instructions for the guests with useful info, like where nearest food shops & supermarkets are, best local beach/-s, with names & simple map, re:rubbish recycling & what exactly to do on the days of collection, etc. Also, not sure if it was just a coincidence that it happened to us, but it would be good to have washing powder /liquid for washing machine, rubbish/ recycling bags & some basic toiletries provided in the property as a norm.

Patrizia was super nice and accommodating. Although we arrived a bit later than agreed she welcomed us with a smile and she gave us a good overview of facilities in the house. The property is a bit outside the village which suited our needs. The house is super clean and luminous.

The house had 2 ventilators but no air conditioning.
