The property is very nicely situated in the old centre of Oresei with a pleasant view onto the small square behind the church and near another very sweet square with a handful of restaurants. One can just about see the sea from the terrace. The host communicated quickly and politely and was helpful in his responses to our queries and needs. It was very clean. The beach is a short distance by car and had easy parking.

The apartment was adequate but expensive by comparison. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were very basic and not enough of the beds were made for our stay. The owner did manage to deliver bed linen but we had to make our own beds. To reach the apartment you need to walk through the next door neighbours terrace. The apartment terrace did not have adequate shade to sit outside without being in the sun. One last point which isn't the owner's responsibility but worth knowing. Our stay was on a Saturday night. One of the local bars had a live DJ set on the street that started around 10pm and finished around 4am. It was like trying to sleep in the middle of a rave so not for anyone who fancies a quieter night.
