Swallow Cottage

Arrived in the afternoon. Lovely location on a working farm which the kids enjoyed. Shame the weather ws so bad but it was february. Host met us just after arrival. Really enjoyed our week. Was fully equipped and although there were a few minor issues like a door not shutting properly could not be beaten for value for money. Would certainly recommend.

Just a few minor maintenance issues but nothing to detract from the lovely location and value for money

The property location was very quiet. The property itself was very spacious and had all the utensils, crockery and pots and pans. It was very clean and tidy. The attention to detail was excellent, we were supplied with tea, coffee, sugar.

We liked everything. The garden was great to walk our dog in the evening. But if you have young children, there is a lovely play area with swings, sandpit and a tractor.

The property had fantastic collection of cooking tools that we cooked at the accommodation whole of the stay. Very clean and comfortable. No fault could be found!

Shower in the bath which was not fit for purpose, shower head kept falling off onetime on my head.No shower mat in bath so when soap or shampoo in it was dangerous .small size fridge for family when there was plenty of room by washing machine where a larder frjdge could of been if second sink was not there.Family next door arived on second day and stayed up untill 3 am next morning with children bouncing a ball shouting and banging.Floors in the cottage not sound proof really noisy. Could of been thought out a lot better for the price of holiday.large bump on my head still from shower. Cleaning not really up to standard i.e cobwebs everywhere and smell of damp when entering cottage.
