Very unique house in fabulous location

The house was very unique, with many flights of stairs and different areas to relax. It is in an excellent location and is very quiet. The kitchen was big and had plenty of equipment. The only down side was that the bottom level toilet had a terrible sewerage smell which made spending time in the kitchen very unpleasant. We could not use this toilet due to the smell. Also the swimming pool filter was obviously not working and the tiles were green, which we realised when I tried to have a swim. The owner got someone in to fix it but it was still green around the edges and we did not swim which was a shame. Also be aware that you need to give €500 cash when you arrive as a bond as credit card holds are not accepted. Overall a good stay in a great location.

Unique house in the heart of St Remy…Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient

Unique vacation rental for 4-6 people. Clean, comfortable, and multiple rooms and spaces to enjoy. The location was perfect to explore St Remy, walk to restaurants, and wander through the cute streets. We really appreciated the free parking, which was about an 8 minute walk away. The private pool was a treat to cool off after a day of activities. Because of the large number of stairs, this house is not suitable for little kids and adults who have difficulty walking. We loved this house and location and would highly recommend.

I would describe this as a four story house. The second bathroom is on the fourth floor that is not easy to get to in the middle of the night. Plan to get a bit of exercise walking up and down the stairs.

Location, charm, heated pool, well appointed.

Stairs, but this added to the authenticity and charm of the location. One is in the old town after all and to expect anything else would need to stay in a hotel with an elevator. Also the dedicated parking was a bit far however, lucky to have.

Loved our stay in the heart of St Remy

Beautiful, large, historic home in the heart of St Remy. The home had absolutely everything we needed, and the little pool was a bonus! Friendly and helpful host, who was very accomodating.

The second bathroom could use a refresh, however it is a historic home so I know this can be challenging.

We enjoyed this property in central St. Remy; very roomy for 4 adults.

The location was great; we loved being right in the center of St. Remy. We appreciated having the space that the property offered.

The communication with the manager wasn’t as helpful as it could have been. The language barrier was part of it, but there was information that we didn’t receive at the beginning of our stay that would have been helpful: i.e. garbage, recycling, better information re: the washer/dryer—which was very different from what we are used to. Response to email questions was not prompt.

The stairs. Way too many and the head height on the ‘fireman’s ’ ladder’ to the upstairs bathroom. Do not rent this property if you are over 150cm!

Stunning accomodation in the heart of the most beautiful location.

Without doubt the best accomodation of our recent European trip in what just just the most perfect location in the heart of beautiful Saint Remy de Provence. Our family of 5 were housed in great comfort in what was a very unique home with all the ammenities you need including an afternoon dip in the plung pool on the hot July days.

It's only a minor thing but the requirement for a face to face sign in and sign out process with a cash bond and house inspections was something we hadn't experienced before and to be honest a bit of a waste of time.

The only bad thing about the house is that it is not ours so we could be here anytime we want.
