Gran Domenica Villa Corfu, Private Pool, Sea View, Garden

Superb location with wonderful sea and mountain views. 10/15 minute walk of harbour, beach and restaurants. Quiet location. Local shops where we ordered fresh meat and fish for the barbecue. Lovely olive groves and big lemons on the tree for our sun downers always on the lovely terrace overlooking olive groves and sea.

The bathrooms and kitchen could do with an update but they were clean and worked well but in no way detracted from the enjoyment of our stay.

The views from the villa over the private pool were breathtaking. We loved that all the bedroom had the same aspect overlooking the sea and were equipped with air conditioning. The pool was beautifully kept and the kitchen had all the amenities you need. The outdoor bbq was great for the nights we decided to eat in. We hired a boat at Nissaki beach on one of the days so we could visit several local beaches and tavernas easily accessible by sea. We also went to Aqualand aqua park with our teenage girls, which was a fun day out. We went to Malibu Summer Beach Club on our last day between our morning checkout and night flight as we could hire beach towels there, which was a great way to end a special holiday with family and friends. Communication with the owner Spyros and the agent Joanna were second to none from our booking onwards! Unfortunately we managed to lock ourselves out of the villa one evening before dinner but Joanna arranged for a key to be left for us on our return from dinner, which was amazing! We have never felt so well looked after.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property but it would be worth upgrading the shower curtain with a glass screen when the shower room is upgraded.
