Perfect stay in Vaerøy with floatting sauna

Spacious and clean apartment with a nice view of the harbour. The owner was very helpful and answered our call at 9 p.m., when we discovered that our original booking (Vaerøy Brygge) was closed. The floating sauna on the harbour is a must-try! We saw northern lights from their as well, beautiful!

Nice winter stay at Vaeroy

The guesthouse is only 800m from the ferry pier, has rooms with a nice view of the mountains (and harbor as well). Kind staff, clean room and facilities. The shop and cafe are 1.5 km away. Next to the guesthouse there's a sauna that you can rent, floating in the harbor. Bicycles are for rent in the village I think. The ferry to the island (a nice trip) is for free and even the helicopter services to/from Bodø are not that expensive (winter 2025).

Best place to stay in Værøy

The facilities are newly renovated, clean, fresh and bright. The kitchen was well equipped. Great view from the living room and a large porch right outside where we could enjoy a dinner.

Quiet stay, Cool hotel, Kind owner

New hotel near the harbor. The owner is very kind and gave us some helpful suggestions regarding the various trekking on the island. The room had a modern style and was very comfy. Very quiet stay.

Be prepared for the food cause there are few restaurants/groceries on the island or you risk to skip the meal. (Don’t know if this was due to covid restrictions or the time we visited the island. We were there in august)

Lovely modern and clean apartment on the docks in Vaerøy

Lovely self-contained apartment with all the conveniences for a very comfortable stay. Great deck in front of the apartment to sit outside on and enjoy the view.

No clothes washing machine. No microwave.

The owners are amazing people who were very helpful when needed. My room was clean and spacious. The place is brand new and as there are not that many places to stay in Værøy, I highly recommend this one.

Room was ready in advance. Comfortable room with nice bathroom and good location close to the ferry. Short walking distance to all the beautiful places of Værøy.

Alt var rent og fint, stilig leilighet m 2 soverom, skikkelig gode senger og godt/ nok utstyrt kjøkken. De hyggelige verter, som kun ville vårt beste! Sauna ved bryggekanten var stor, ren og innbydende. Vil anbefale stedet på det varmeste!

Det var meget rent! Bekvemmelig seng og perfekt størrelse på leiligheten for et par. Et lite kjøkken med det man trenger for selvhushold. Vil absolutt anbefale og kommer gjerne tilbake.
