Right in the heart of Bordeaux, 5 minutes from the historic centre, at the foot of the Marché des Capucins, a stone's throw from Place de la Victoire, Rue Sainte Catherine, shops and restaurants, this cocoon offers you every comfort for an exceptional stay in Bordeaux.
Fully renovated and equipped, its contemporary design will win you over. Very comfortable for two people; a third person can use the sofa bed.
The accommodation:
Very well equipped, you will enjoy all the comforts for an unforgettable stay. Just a short walk from all shops and transport links, Le Saint Michel offers the following facilities:
- A pleasant living room with dining table for four, comfortable sofa bed and flat-screen TV, fully air-conditioned
- A semi-open, fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and a range of kitchen utensils)
- Workshop-style bedroom with double bed (160cm)
- An open-plan bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet
Quality sheets, towels, tea towels and a few coffee capsules are provided and your bed is made on arrival.
Of course, Wi-Fi is available and free of charge!
The St Michel district is organised around Place Canteloup and Place des Capucins, both of which are devoted to commercial activities. Saint-Michel is home to flea markets, particularly on Sunday mornings, and the Capucins, long a wholesale food market, is now a neighbourhood market. The area is cosmopolitan, with architects, start-ups and artists attracted by the area's dynamic cultural life.
If you like the lively atmosphere of the markets, you won't want to miss a trip to the Marché des Capucins, the largest covered market in Bordeaux, where you can do your shopping or enjoy a platter of oysters from the Bay of Arcachon, a plate of Spanish tapas, charcuterie or cheese, accompanied by a Bordeaux or Entre-deux-mers wine. And all around the market, a large number of restaurants will welcome you to discover local flavours or take you on a trip around the world.
Public transport :
Tramway B (stop "Victoire") a 5-minute walk takes you to Place du Grand Théâtre (hyper centre) in 5 minutes, and direct to the Cité du Vin in 15 minutes.
Train: Bordeaux railway station is a 10-minute walk away.
Car:
The Capucins pay car park is 100 metres away.
It is also possible to park in the street, but spaces are at a premium and there is a charge for street parking (except at night between 7pm and 9am, on Sundays and public holidays).
Self-service bike hire: Vcub station 50 m away, €1.60 for 24 hours.

This is a very clean and comfortable apartment with all you need for a self-catering holiday in Bordeaux. We had a problem with the coffee machine; however, this was dealt with promptly, so we were very happy with that service.It is in a very cosmopolitan area near to a comprehensive undercover market, a supermarket and a selection of international cafes/restaurants. Bus service approx 5 mins walk and trams approx 10 mins walk. To walk into the main centre of Bordeaux 25mins approx. Bordeaux's rubbish collecting facilities are oversubscribed so it pays to be alert when walking.City Pass is good value if you want to see those sights it covers & use the unlimited public transport. Citie du Vin Museum takes a ery comprehensive look at wine making, we spent 4.5 hrs there. Botanical Gardens disappointing given the name, although pleasant enough for a stroll in the park.Boulangeries are good value for tasty lunchtime food. Alfresco dining & drinking is OK & certainly popular, however; if you do not like pigeons or sparrows joining you at the table you have to go inside and even then they still may join you.

We have a Supermarket close to the room. And several restaurants are also near from the room. We can walk to the Tram station for 10 min..
One room light does not work.So that the room is little dark.
