Pulau Weh Paradise

Super friendly and accommodating staff, who helped us with all of our excursions, a lovely comfortable room, delicious food that came quickly and with a smile and a beautiful setting right by the sea. Also very pleased about the drinking water containers in our room and at the restaurant, meaning we didn't have to buy any plastic bottles.

Some trash on the beach and the pool table room was sometimes cigarette-smokey, which wasn't good for the kids.

Wer einen ruhigen Spot abseits des Trubels von Sabang oder den Touristen-Hotspots der Insel sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Unterkunft liegt malerisch an einer schönen Bucht. Die Gärten sind gepflegt, es gibt ein paar schöne Sitzgelegenheiten zum entspannen. Der Sandstrand ist ok, wenn auch leider etwas dreckig wegen angespültem Plastikmüll. Zum richtigen Schwimmen ist es nicht so gut geeignet, da das Wasser sehr unruhig ist, aber um sich kurz mal zu erfrischen ist das super. Das Essen war ok. Die kleineren Unterkünfte im alten Haupthaus hatten ihren Charme, aber der komplette Barfußbereich inkl. der Gemeinschaftssanitäranlagen war sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, auch wenn es relativ sauber war. Dafür sind die 6 Bungalows direkt am Meer nicht zu toppen: Gefühlt direkt am Strand mit Meeresrauschen und fantastischem Ausblick, komfortabel eingerichtet - mit Warmwasser, einem tollen Bett, tollem Bad, Wasserkocher, Sofa, Kleiderstange für Klamotten. Klimaanlage! Dafür volle 10 Punkte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für das Erkunden der Insel benötigt man def. eine Motorisierung, die aber immer leicht zu finden ist. Will man die ganze Insel erkunden, muss man sowieso auf einen Transport zurückgreifen, egal wo man untergebracht ist. Wir sind hier gut mit denlokalen Gästen in Kontakt gekommen, was sehr schön war. Auf jeden Fall ein stimmungsvoller Ort!

Prachtig uitzicht en locatie

Staff at the hotel, from Sandy to the cooks and the other staff, were very friendly, helpful and helped with booking the taxis and renting of scooters. Food at the restaurant was good.

We stayed in the bungalow at the beach. The room had way too many ants. The toilet seat and other parts of the bathroom were filled with mold (see the picture). This made our stay very uncomfortable. Location is a bit far from the snorkeling sites and restaurants on the island. However, the hotel is right on a beautiful beach (but not for snorkeling).
