I’d call the property as “10 minutes’ run to the lakes,” since walking takes more like 20–25 minutes, or around 30 when it’s icy and you have to go slowly. Still, we didn’t mind the walk, and it’s a lovely place with everything you need.
There aren’t many restaurants around, just three within a 30-minute walk, and the only nearby shop closes far too early on Sundays at 1 p.m.—unfortunately, that was the day we arrived. Without a car, it was a bit of a challenge, but we made it work!
