Victória Guest House

A fantastic place to stay in Furnas! The hosts Ester and Jorge are fantastic and extremely kind, offering us coffee, replacing towels daily, and they even wrote us a handwritten card that was there when we arrived which immediately made us feel welcome. The room was clean, and had great AC which was much appreciated in a hot place like this! We were in room 1 and did not experience any issues with smell that some reviews had mentioned. There is a free parking lot nearby and lots of street parking around, so while it can sometimes get quite busy around lunch (it’s very close to Tony’s restaurant) we didn’t have much trouble overall. Would definitely recommend visiting Furnas and staying here!

Very clean and great location. Area is very quiet and rooms are very comfortable. The balcony is a big plus. The staff are very helpful and Esther the owner is amazing, a great host and good giude. Thanks for a lovely experience

Walking distance to everything, when staying in Furnas. We parked our car up the road for free and didn't have to move it the entire stay. Shared spaces were wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked and the little garden full of herbs was so wonderful! The place was well taken care of and the other guests were a joy to talk to during meal times. Everyone was very respectful of the place including being quiet during sleeping hours.

We were on the main floor and it could be loud and bright at times from the streetlights and cars.

- Humidity - wet walls, floor and mold in a shower. - Very cold room - I slept with two blankets and two long sleeves. - Hard to find a parking spot.
