We love Canmore and Ambleside Lodge was walking distance to the town, so we didn't need the car at all. Our hosts were wonderful, very friendly, very helpful, made us feel at home. Beautiful house, wonderful breakfasts. would definitely go there again
The only thing that could have been better would have been an en-suite rather than a private bathroom. Wasn't really a problem though

This was my first visit to Canada and what an amazing first few days. All the information arrived through a couple of days prior to our arrival of checking in, parking and requesting your preferred time for breakfast.
We arrived and met Annie and Brian, they are so welcoming and gave us some great Ideas of local hikes and places in Canmore to eat. Brian’s breakfasts were delicious, wholesome and really set us up for our days adventures. No two days food were the same.
The bedroom (Wilderness room) was very comfortable & clean. They had kit for hikes to borrow, poles and crampons. I would so recommend staying at Ambleside B & B and just a 10 minute walk into town.
What’s not to like! It was fabulous

The owners were lovely, welcoming and flexible. Our room was perfect and the location was great, easy to walk into town centre!
Nothing- it was perfect!
