The place is equipped with one of the best lighting schemes I have ever stayed in. It is a great choice for a couple who do not prefer big spaces. It is modern and clean. Shops and the train station are not very far. The host is very nice but not intrusive.
I did not like Itzehoe but it is not related to the apartment at all.

Gorgeous apartment with a lovely private balcony. Modern furnishing, good WLAN, near the centre of town, in a quiet area, and there were even a couple of board games available in the unit, which I found lovely!
My only gripe is the light fixture above the kitchen table - it seems to hang low enough to block my view of my partner!

very spacious, stylishly furnished, kitchen super. Everything exceptional, only we slept badly because a bad bed.
the problem was with the bed (very squeaky) and I couldn't use the pillow (very strange shape and hardness)
