It is a nice clean apartment, it has all of the amenities that I needed. It is a nice walking distance to restaurants and shops.
The shower does not drain well so it makes a mess on the floor outside of the shower. I wasn't able to book the apartment for my entire stay.

The place is equipped with one of the best lighting schemes I have ever stayed in. It is a great choice for a couple who do not prefer big spaces. It is modern and clean. Shops and the train station are not very far. The host is very nice but not intrusive.
I did not like Itzehoe but it is not related to the apartment at all.

very spacious, stylishly furnished, kitchen super. Everything exceptional, only we slept badly because a bad bed.
the problem was with the bed (very squeaky) and I couldn't use the pillow (very strange shape and hardness)
