fabulous week, good clean accomodation in a quiet position,

The location is in a small road with about 8 other properties, all nicely maintained, we felt safe and the road was very quiet all of the time, the host and his family are very kind and hospitable, everything was perfect inside, and the cleanliness was evident, the kitchen facilities were excellent, with more than enough of plates, cutlery pans, etc to cook for many people, ,out side were grapevines, and olive trees, The walk to the old town took about 35 minutes, which is possibly a lot quicker, if you are younger, I would fully recommend this bungalow, it is more on par with a small home than an apartment and we were very pleased with our choice, thanks to the owner for a lovely stay.

Exceptionally welcoming, clean and comfortable

The place (a house-style apartment) was amazing. Enough space, spotlessly clean and with a warm reception by the hosts. They were gracious, explained everything in detail, and made sure we know everything about the area and the house.

I personally found the mattress a little bit too soft but this is a personal preference. Other than that, there was nothing not to like!

Comfortable and peaceful place to stay

Ivan was the host of this apartment and he was very kind and patient with our constant changes on arrival time. He handled us the keys and explained everything that we need to know about the apartment. He also had prepared some plates with a few snacks and a delicious liquor to try. The house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. There is a table outside that is ideal for eating outdoor and a place to prepare some barbecue. All rooms were very clean and comfortable. We really had everything that we needed there.

Amazing house, great host, you have everything you need

Zadar lovely little Jem of a place

This was a lovely little property consisting of a bedroom(large bed and storage) dining kitchen, bathroom and living room(large comfy settee/2nd bed and TV with some English channels including films. Outside nice garden with shade and seating area. We were met by the hosts father (lovely guy) who passed over things we needed to know. The house was very comfortable (with some air con) and allowed us to sit around probably more than we usually do especially in the garden under the vines (natural shade). We tended to eat out but there are plenty of supermarkets around and the kitchen has cooker, hob, fridge etc The area is served well by local buses that are cheap (it appears 10 kunas whether two stops or six and the 'Old Town' is about 20 minutes walk away (see 'what didn't you like' below) Zadar itself is great in places but a bit 'rustic' in others but we never felt it wasn't safe, in fact everyone we met were welcoming and glad to see you (not loads of English). The 'Old Town' is within the town walls and its great, entry by road, pedestrian bridge or small rowing boat ferry (7HK worth the experience) The town is like a smaller version of Dubrovnik with walls to walk, squares with small passages leading to other squares, churches etc mainly cobbled and a fair bit of history. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops, we visited most days/nights and discovered new bits all the time. Just up the coast 500m there are 'stoney beaches' sunbathing areas cafes etc and a huge open air swimming pool. A good day was to sit in one of the cafes watching youngsters (mainly) diving off the boards into the sea.

Now here's the rub we booked this property knowing that it was '15 minutes walk to the Old Town' and unusually we didn't hire a car. Both me and the missis walk a lot and although its actually 20mins that's fine in England but in 35 degree hot sunshine it can be sapping especially walking back up hill. (go in spring/autumn no problem) There are plenty off buses that are easy to catch but who wants to ride buses on holiday. If I came here again (and I can recommend it) I would hire a car because it has parking facilities at the property and parking most places in Croatia is still pretty good, you can in fact park just outside the walls of the Old Town.

Very comfortable, well located apartment

Very comfortable place. Spacious, well maintained and equipped. Bed was comfy and the host was easy to reach and responsive. Parking spot on the drive. Supermarket very near by. I'd highly recommend this place to stay.

Exceptional

The infrastructure is very good (grocery supermarkets such as Lidl and Tommy are located at a distance of 500 meters from the house. The location of the house is optimal - the sun shines in the morning and remains visible until the evening from the entrance, but it does not shine directly into the house, but is hidden behind the bunches of vines that virtually cover the terrace from direct sunlight.

Sejour Parfait ,l'accueil des propriétaires était juste exceptionnel , un charmant couple d'une gentillesse incroyable, avec des conseils en or pour le bon déroulement du séjour l'emplacement de la maison est idéal pour visiter la ville a pied, de très belles plages a proximité, des commerces autour je recommande vivement ce logement qui est propre ,convivial et pratique pour une famille .

Una perla in quel di Zara

Casa meravigliosa, abbiamo trascorso 4 notti in questa struttura e avremo voluto passarci una settimana ancora. Ristrutturata, dotata di ogni comfort, cucina nuova e super attrezzata. La chicca è sicuramente il giardino con la possibilità di parcheggiare auto e la sera fare la carne alla brace con il barbecue sotto i vigneti...tutto oltre le aspettative
