Dimokritos Villas is a complex of six Villas, beautifully appointed in the Cretan country side, offering magnificent views of the surrounding area, the nearby hills, as well as the sea at the horizon.
Dimokritos Villas are just 3 km away from the picturesque settlement and the sandy, organised beaches of Geropotamos, ideal for family holidays! Also, a selection of cafes, tavernas, gift shops, mini markets and ATM machine are available in Panormo. Also, for those who enjoy hiking there is a country path of 1,5 km leading to Panormos, but it’s advisable to cross it only by day!
Layout
Dimokritos Villa III is a 100 m2 Villa, consisted of two levels, which can accommodate up to 8 guests in it’s 3 bedrooms. The Villa is tastefully decorated with furniture of modern design, chosen carefully in order to make your self-catered vacation as easy and comfortable as possible!
Ground Floor
As you enter the Villa you will find yourselves in a lovely open-plan space, featuring the living room with an open fireplace and two cosy sofas, where two guests can be accommodated. The fully equipped kitchen with a dining area is right next to the living room, so the whole family can spend some time together, while relaxing or preparing your meals! Both the living room and kitchen areas offer direct access to the shaded veranda, swimming pool and lawn covered terrace. Additionally, one of the Villa’s bedrooms, boosting a double, is located on the ground floor, along with a family bathroom with a shower.
First Floor
A few steps above, the remaining two bedrooms of Dimokritos Villa III can be found, each one with two single beds. In one of the bedrooms the two beds can also be used as a double bed. All bedrooms and the living room are air-conditioned and are airy and sunny all day long. Both bedrooms open up to a large veranda equipped with patio furniture, overlooking the pool terrace and enjoying amazing sunset views. Finally, a family bathroom with bathtub is also located on this floor.
Exterior
Moving outdoors, a magnificent 200m2 outdoor area welcomes you and invites you to to indulge in the summer breeze, hot sun and enjoy the pleasures of summer, under the clear blue skies! The private swimming pool 1.5 meters deep has a special compartment for kids 0.4 meters deep and it is 35m2 in total and it’s equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, so you can spend as many hours as you wish out in the open! Additionally, the outdoor BBQ facilities and the dining and sitting area, will tempt you to try your cooking skills and al fresco dining! To make things even better, our young guests will love the large lawn covered area with a garden swing, keeping them busy and happy!

Location Overview
Dimokritos Villas are located close to the village of Aggeliana, 5 minutes away by car, where guests can find a super markets taverna a cafe as well as a bakery. The sandy beaches of Geropotamos are just 5 minutes away from the villa by car.
Also Panormo, is a friendly sea side village, just 10 minutes away by car and well known for its sandy beaches. The two main beaches are Limanaki and Limni. Both of them are sandy with clear blue water and ideal for kids, as they are shallow and well protected from winds. The beaches are organised and equipped with sun beds & umbrellas. Water sports are also available. The harbour beach in front of the village is the port of the area, where the boats tie up, this beach is unorganised.
The village has all the facilities and amenities one would need : well-stocked mini-markets, post office, pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a butcher's shop, bakery (hot, fresh bread every morning from 9 am), various gift shops and traditional seaside shops at very reasonable prices.
Further, there is a good selection of cafes and excellent traditional tavernas, overlooking the harbour and the sea, which offer a warm welcome and a beautiful setting to enjoy some traditional Cretan food, fish as well as international dishes.
Panormo has regular bus itineraries every 30 minutes that connects Heraklion and Chania cities.

The outside space was perfect, we used the pool and Bbq most days. The beds were firm and comfortable but we like firm matresses. The downstairs bathroom which is for the double room was disappointing. Not a luxury bathroom that you would expect from a 3 bed villa. The kitchen and lounge was basic but had everything needed. Location is very peaceful but when we booked originally the listing said there was a taverna on site but this had closed which meant a 20 - 30 minute drive to go out for dinner. Car is essential for this villa. Overall though we had an amazing relaxing holiday

Lovely spacious accommodation in a great location with beautiful views, however slightly let down by facilities in Villa, found beds to be very uncomfortable (very firm) impacting on our sleep, fixtures and fittings budget for a luxury Villa and quite minimal. Unfortunately would not stay again due to beds, overall did not live up to our expectations

Valia and her family personally welcomed us to their home and checked in to see if we needed anything. The house is roomy, beautiful and spotless. Unfortunately, there is so much to do and see on the wondrous island we were hardly ever there. Valia and her family represent the people of Crete with warmth and care that we found all over the island.

Great 5vstars, except for Sat Nav instructions lead you into fields abd untarnished roads, they need updating and dont use Best Cars at airport their vehicle was poorly maintained and underpowered.
