About this cottage rental
This unit is the Sunset Cottage. It is a guest cottage on our property. It is a detached private unit with a generous yard. 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, 1 bath and a full kitchen. Cooking supplies and basic condiments are provided. There are dvd's and board games, a smart tv for you to log on to your subscription channels, dish network is included. The outside space has a charcoal bbq (you supply your own charcoal), plenty of chairs and a hammock to relax on. There is a shared driveway. This property is on Highway 49 between the south entrance of Yosemite and the El Portal entrance, great for access to both sides of the park. There is 1 security camera facing the door and parking area.

The cottage was very nice and comfortable. Stephanie gave us so many recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores. Her communication was excellent and always responded to any of our inquiries immediately. The location was quiet and the cottage was well stocked for all your needs. She went above and beyond on thinking of what her guests may need. The king bed was comfortable and the location was convenient. We spent 3 nights there while visiting Yosemite Park. I would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

Stephanie had everything we needed (and more) at the Sierra Sunset Cottage!New heating/cooling systems in each room made it comfortable and easy to adjust. We only slept in the king bedroom and it made both nights quite restful, plenty of closet space and nice light-blocking shades. The queen room looked nice as well, although it did not have a mirror for getting dressed. Kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked, and I appreciated the thoughtful items like a lantern and ice chest, lint roller and wine opener, make-up towelettes and even a toothbrush kit incase someone forgot theirs! A nice selection of books on the shelf along with the "fireplace" helped create cozy ambiance. Stephanie definitely thought of everything!The location was near town with good restaurants and other places to visit. If there was a hot tub to enjoy the nighttime stars, we would've probably never left!!

This is our first time renting thru VRBO. We are very pleased with the whole stay. The place is very clean, quite, and everything we need is there. Stephanie is very accommodating; coming from out of town and was on the middle part of our vacation, she let us use the laundry facility. My son is very sensitive to pollens and dust (our indicator if the place is clean), he slept really good here, no sneezes nor runny nose. Yes, it’s that clean! It’s very quite and worth driving 45 to 60 minutes to the park depending on the traffic. Highly recommend this place.
