Proper, standard, upscale resort hotel, albeit small but having a boutique feel. Classy, minimalist decor. Nice restaurant onsite, swimming pool , sauna. Staff was smart to put sand on the road as it was snowing and icy so parking, given the sloe was quite hard
It was cold - the swimming pool facilities were visibly not using the heaters so the bathrooms were fresh. One of our rooms had a heater that was not on so the room was cold. We notified staff who was initially trying to argue a bit that they do not see it in the system but finally called maintenance staff who helpfully came and fixed the heater (it was snowing outside and cold!)
