Nous nous rendons à Arcs 1950 depuis quelques années mais n'avions jamais séjourné dans les Jardins de la Cascade. Tout s'est très bien passé. L'appartement correspond au descriptif. La communication avec les propriétaires a été fluide. Nous recommandons !

Une propriété exposé côté calme du village, agrémenté d'un sauna, jacuzzi et piscine chauffée extérieure. Accès direct au parking par ascenseur. 1er étage donc rapide d accès aux casiers à skis. Appartement équipé de serviettes peignoirs lits faits. Que du bonheur ! Des propriétaires joignables et très aimables. Difficile de repartir une semaine c'est trop court !!!!

This property has probably the best location in Arc 1950: on first floor in Jardin de la Cascades in front of the ski schools meeting point, right next to the supermarket, opposite the bakery and yet away from the hustle bustle of Prince de Cimes (where check in and reception was located). It has its own outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna/hammam as well as access to the indoor pool at Prince de Cimes (through a walk outside or via underground parking). The apartment itself is quite large for a one-bedroom place in a ski resort, with a particularly spacious bathroom and a well furnished living room with a very comfortable double sofa bed. All the usual amenities you would expect are provided and there are enough kitchen utensils for a fully self-catering holiday if you choose not to eat at the abundant restaurants nearby. The property was clean and fresh towels / linens were all supplied as well, including robes for each person. There was also a locked ski locker available at the ground floor of the building (although this was unheated and slightly cramped). Underground parking is also available below the apartment (subject to additional charges)
There was some teething issue initially as it was the first time the owner was letting this property through VRBO rather than Pierre et Vacances so it was managed separately by another concierge company. However the owner was extremely responsive and helpful, and sorted everything out within the hour. He genuinely wanted to ensure that we have a good holiday.
Overall the property and Arc 1950 itself is perfect for a family ski in ski out holiday. It is extremely convenient in all aspects and is really good value compared to booking with P&V directly. We were very fortunate as well because the skiing conditions were amazing just before Christmas and the atmosphere was lively but not overly crowded due to the pandemic. To conclude, this place is highly recommended and we enjoyed our stay.
