About this house rental
This 6-person house with sauna in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Giethoorn is located on the water and has its own jetty with bathing ladder. The living room with open-plan kitchen and large windows offers an almost all-encompassing view of the beautiful water landscape. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. The other two bedrooms and an additional bathroom are on the first floor and you can take a refreshing dip in the water directly from the jetty with bathing ladder.
There are several houses of this type in this park. The exact location in the park may therefore differ from the photos shown. The interior may also differ from the photos, but the same quality standards are applied in all houses.
In the Villa Bodelaeke restaurant you can enjoy dinner or a cup of coffee on the sunny terrace. A play beach with a pirate ship has been opened especially for children. There is also a children's swimming strip with a water depth of up to 130 cm. You can also hire bicycles and e-bikes at the park.
The holiday park in Giethoorn, the Venice of the North, is located on the edge of the Weerribben nature reserve. You can go boating, sailing, fishing, swimming, walking, cycling or simply relaxing on the sunny terrace. You can choose to book an electric boat or a boat for a stay and moor it at your own jetty. You can also fish from the jetty (fishing is permitted for a small fee). In the Weerribben Wieden nature reserve you will find various species of fish such as: Bitter roach, ten-spined stickleback, goby, ruisvoorn, pike, baas and more. Night fishing from the jetty at the house is permitted as long as it does not cause a noise nuisance.
Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2025; guests must rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 152.77 per stay. Consumption costs are included in the room rate. Up to two pets are allowed.

Der Ferienpark an sich ist sehr gepflegt. An manchen Ecken wurden noch Häuser errichtet, aber man hat keinerlei Belästigung durch die Bauarbeiten gehabt.
Das Haus hatte alle beschriebenen Eigenschaften. Die Terrasse und der Bootssteg waren super. Auf der Terrasse stand ein wunderschöner großer Tisch aus Granit/Stein (?), der super war. Die kleine Sauna hatte sogar ein integriertes Solarium. Die Ausstattung war gut, wie man es von den meisten Ferienhäusern gewohnt ist.
Der einzig negative Punkt war die Kommunikation/nicht vorhandene Kommunikation mit Novasol, dem eigentlichen "Besitzer" des Ferienhauses. Novalsol hatte uns gerade bei den Nebenkosten direkt im Park völlig falsche (oder vielleicht auch nur sehr veraltete) Informationen gegeben. Das führte zu einer Irritation bei der Anreise. Der Park hat alles von deren Seite zur Aufklärung unternommen. Von Novalsol kam bis heute keine Reaktion.
