El ParaÍso de Guriezo

El sitio es estupendo , pena no tener más días, para conocer más la zona.

No hay nada en concreto que no me gustase.

The hotel was comfortable and conveniently located close to restaurants, cafes, and a laundromat. It was generally clean and had everything I needed for a short stay walking El Camino. The woman how run it (forgot her name) was marvelous and she was the one who showed my how close everything was.

A few things could be improved. The phone number listed is not on WhatsApp, which made it impossible to reach the hotel while using a data-only eSIM. Somehow I had difficulty finding the hotel. My map took me to the street behind the hotel. If I had a car it would have been no problem. But I didn’t and was a bit frustrated. I stopped by the police station close by and they gave me directions. When I finally arrived, the wonderful woman inside did have WhatsApp, why wasn’t her phone the one listed? Additionally, the internet connection did not work in the room, so I had to use the common area for anything online.

Amplio y con todo lo necesario. Los espacios comunes están genial y limpios y cuidados. Aparcamiento dentro gratuito.

Die Unterkunft ist recht nah am Camino del Norte in Pomar gelegen. Zudem gibt es in ca. 500 Metern Entfernung die Möglichkeit Lebensmittel zu kaufen und einen Waschsalon zu nutzen.

Als wir ankamen lief im Außenbereich bereits laute Musik zudem wurden laute Reparaturarbeiten durchgeführt. Letzteres hat uns weniger gestört. Als Pilger hätten wir uns gern nach einem anstrengenden Tag ausgeruht und wären gern früh zu Bett gegangen. Das war aufgrund der lauten Musik leider nicht möglich. Ich habe zuletzt gegen 22:30 Uhr auf die Uhr gesehen und da lief die Musik immer noch in voller Lautstärke. Es war an diesem Tag sehr heiß und wir hätten gern das Fenster geöffnet. Dann hätten wir jedoch die volle Beschallung abbekommen. Aus dem Hahn der Dusche kam braunes Wasser und die Bettdecken waren sandig.
