About this house rental
We are three close friends, Dimosthenis, Catherine and Thanos and we came to Andros 7 years ago; we were fascinated from the first moment by the energy of the place. We decided to start a project, Kalliberry Cycladic Complex, and surely no one could imagine then that would lead us here! At the beginning we renovated the main residence of the estate and shaped the surrounding area, then we transformed an old stable to a place of high aesthetics, the cave, and on 2020 we completed with a lot of personal work and creative ideas, this dream house, 4 meters high, villa Elissavet.
Our property is isolated from the busy crowd, located in the northern part of the island, 20 minutes driving from Gavrio port. A car is needed to explore Andros, as our island is big and has fantastic beaches off road. Two rental cars are provided to our guests, 2 SUVs, inform us if you are interested in.
Villa Elissavet has one bedroom with king size bed leading to the sitting area of the veranda, one cozy bedroom with double bed, made by thalassociols, in the loft of the sitting room, an open small room outside the bathroom, a dark refreshing bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a big sitting room.
The outside area has a big veranda with a huge sofa and a big coffee table, a dinning table with wooden chairs, the cozy pool with two wooden sun beds, an outside wooden shower and an open space with grass and a big wooden swing.
Visit North Andros, stay to villa Elissavet and enjoy the surrounding nature, the beautiful paths, the fantastic wild beaches, Zorgos and Peza, live a beekeping experience, hear the sound of the wind, relax to the huge sofa of the veranda, feel free to wander to the estate and gather fresh vegetables from our garden for your salad, take a drink in the magnificent sunset at the sit of the cozy pool or enjoy the view of the sunset from the swing. The pool is open from the end of April until the end of October.

The property is high up in the mountains about 20-25mins from the town. It has amazing views and it very quiet. The villa has been decorated amazingly and has everything you need for a relaxing time. Pool is a plunge pool, so great for cooling down. Town has great restaurants and shops for food, pastry and ice cream! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Elisabet. It worked perfectly for our family of 4. Our two preteen kids had enough space to relax. As did we. The villa was clean and very creatively decorated, giving us a feeling of calm tranquility.
Just 20 mins from Gavrio it felt both well connected, but also helpfully disconnected enough to give us space to relax. It was an easy drive to many lovely beaches. Aghios Petros was our personal favourite, but we tried many others too.
Our hosts were very helpful, but also discrete enough, considering it’s a complex of 3 small properties. They were also thoughtful enough to leave a few helpful shared items, like a cool box for beach trips and a yoga mat and parasols. Very handy.
The pool is indeed cosy but perfect for a hot sunny dip and the swing is an amazing addition to watch the sun set each evening at a wonderfully high vantage point over Evia. Incredible.
We loved our stay and it was a perfect location from which to explore Andros island.

A lovely property off the beaten track but easy to get to, with marvellous views over the Agean Sea to mainland Greece. It is a perfect place to unwind and relax. We found everything we needed in Gavrio and there are some excellent beaches nearby. Hora is definitely worth visiting. A car is a must to get around. Our hosts were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them.

An absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained gem. We never got tired of looking at all the charming and creative details both inside and out, and the hosts are outstanding.
Location: the easiest to reach of the three places we stayed, anyone who says otherwise has not traveled that much in Greece. Complete tranquility but close enough to Gavrio, Batsi and some great beaches. Also very close to the best Taverna on the Island, O Kossis, we will never forget our experience there; the hospitality, the freshness of the food (literally “farm to table”) and the relaxed and rustic vibe.
Accommodations: Villa Elisavetta is so beautifully done, it has great flow and is imbued true character, the private outside space is wonderful and the view is spectacular and unforgettable. We fell in love with our private pool from the minute we saw it.
Hosts: So warm and welcoming, they really know the island and are happy to provide great recommendations of where to go, what to do, and the best places to eat. Their hospitality is on another level, completely exceeding our expectations.
We cannot imagine any better place from which to base your discovery of Andros, a lovely island that still feels authentically “un-touristy”.
