La Histórica CDMX

Me gustó mucho la ubicación, cerca del metro y varios restaurantes. Es muy limpio. Tiene agua caliente que nunca falló y la puerta-ventana a la calle le da un buen toque. El personal es muy amable.

Recomiendo traer tus propias toallas, las del hostal no secan. La cama y las almohadas no son comodas por lo que recomendamos traer tu propia almohada. Cuando llueve, cerca a la ventana puedes sentir un spray de la lluvia, por lo que tuvimos que poner una toalla que tape el gap entre puerta y pared.

Excellent value for the excellent location - with easy access to bars, restaurants, metro, small supermarkets, souvenir market. Everything needed for a simple stay was available - bed was comfortable, the shower produced warm water (if left on for some time) however with rather weak pressure. The room was on a lower floor, so curtains had to stay closed unless you don't mind sharing your life with the whole street. The street was not too noisy. Bottle of water was provided, there was water to refill and possibility to make tea. Soap and shampoo.

Not an issue for me, but nobody seemed to be around, I only saw the person who handed me the key on the first day.

Location was so near to the Angel of Independance ( the center). It was so convenient to locate anything from there.

The room was so small than I thought, and you can barely turn in the bathroom. The hotel is just on the roadside and at night its very noisy. It really disturbed my sleep. If you are not a Spanish speaker, this will not be a place even for a lesser price. I had really difficult time first time getting into the accommodation, as the main door is usually locked. My taxi driver arrived there first and because the door is closed, he took me another round again and came to the same place and charged me additional 100 peso for that :-(. As The lady who welcomed me was so nice, but we couldn't communicate with each other as she was Spanish, and I was English speaking. The only way out was google translator. Upon my request, she helped me connect to WiFi. Then I managed to translate things using google translator and showed it to her to get the basic info as I checked in. It was such a nightmare. At night in addition to road noise, I also had disturbance from noises inside the house. However, the host was so nice.
